  1. Since Ihsaa realignment in 2013 this regionals State numbers. 8 Qualifiers last year (3 placers) Bloomington had 4, Castle had 18 and Mooresville 26 8 Qualifiers in 2014 (5 placers) Bloomington had 8, Castle had 17 and Mooresville 22 6 Qualifiers in 2013 (1 placer) Bloomington had 12, Castle had 17, and Mooresville 21 3.5% of all State Qualifiers in a 3 year span 2.6% of all State Placers in a 3 year span. Not saying it is the weakest but It has produced the fewest state qualifiers the 3 years out of the Evansville SS.
  2. I wasn't there but was getting text updates from a reliable source... 3. Whitley did not wrestle in the dual with Charlestown. Haynes and LaHue should wrestling this weekend
  4. Looks like we might get a 4x Classic Champion this year.. Good Luck Bradley!
  5. Sometimes as a parent you have to make tough decisions for your family, that may or not be easy and often times they effect more than just you thats part of life.. So what if a kid switched schools and whos care for what reason, that his family's decision to make.. He's a talented wrestler and I hope he goes far a represents and I know that if he does he will represent FC and Southern Indiana very well.. This time of year we should be banding together and hope the area wrestlers go far and represent "our" part of the state very well!
  6. Binkley and Burress, New Albany both Runners up I believe Cooper was a 2x, and big bro Kyle and Sisson both wrestled under the lights Doherty was a 2 timer. Fleming made it to the show, when he was a Pioneer Labo was a runner up at Vincennes Pike Central coach was a pretty good heavy when he was at Reitz.. Steftanagel at Jasper has a medal too! Hes got some assistant that have been there, Brescher stands out Im sure there are more..
  7. Stuart wrestled this past saturday... I don't know your source who said he quit, but my soucre is pretty reliable ;D.
  8. Something crazy or unexpected will no doubt happen Saturday Jeff.. Jeff and Floyd are gonna have a battle til the end for the title, will be interesting to see if one of them gets a leg up tonight in drawing those forfiet brothers from Salem and CAI in the first round... I see Kennedy, Lahue, Shepherd, Marler and Curtley as locks, take it to the bank.. 126, and, 138 are deep weights whoever wins these will be battle tested... Stuart from Charlestown will be at 132 or 138 and will add some depth to one of those weights...... I think 170 is a weight to watch as well Hall and Marlin should be a good one...... Also watch the big boy from Providence, he could shake some things up... I could see a Champion from seven different teams.
  9. Charlestown wins team title.. Providence 2nd Milan 3rd
  10. Bailey is very good and will make some noise next year.

  13. I would like to see the college out of bounds used. It creates so much more excitement near the edge and less "playing the line."
  14. Weekly is very talented. Strong, quick, smart and wrestles very hard. He looked like he was on a mission at semi state and destroyed everyone. He's gonna turn some heads this weekend, and he sure is fun to watch!

  16. Charlestown Havent heard much from up this way. they are definitley gonna have some strong challengers in a few weight classes. 1 champ. Charlestown going to have 3 maybe 4 #1 seeds, so I hope we have more than 1 champion!
  17. Jeffersonville 54 Charlestown 18
  18. Yep all events cancelled for tonight in NA/Floyd co. schools---could have wrestled Sat.----
  19. I was just informed Yes meet will proceed !
  20. That is one problem we had today. There were some very good wrestlers who have not wrestled much or at all this early in the year. Also being this early in the season it is often difficult to have head to head meeeting or common opponents.
