  1. may be biased...but I don't see anyone in Indiana beating Hockaday
  2. Brownsburg runs the table at the Jeff Duals. Dickman, Haines, B. Reynolds, Hockaday, Ison, P. Reynolds, Gibbs, Day, Derringer, Henry, Brewer, and Forrester all finished undefeated.
  3. Got your hands full next week. BD beat Bburg, Cathedral, and the 3 time champs.
  4. You are right he did lace em up. And I have seen him beat bigger. However, he did cut and bumped up after wrestling the day before and was dealing with an injury. Those throws were ill-advised though. I stand with you on the 4 timer. Def has the skill set and work ethic. Never easy though.
  5. Kid is a stud! If anyone can battle back from the adversity he can!
  6. Great season and congrats on the Hodge! I know this is an old thread but what did he weigh in at this year for the finals?
  7. Gibbs is the real deal...flying under the radar as a freshman with a packed bburg team. When he did get the start on Varsity he dominated. Kid is a monster.
  8. LOL if you are 20 in the state finals you were held back multiple years. 20 year olds are men and should not be competing against children. You want a sophomore in college wrestling your 14 year old freshman?
  9. I saw him in an interview say he held back twice
  10. Posting pictures do not help?!?! 2 hands on the mat is loss of control sooo....
  11. LOL!! Whether you know the ref or not the kid was absolutely cheated....cmon...
  12. It absolutely is clear cut. Vanover had both hands on the mat. That is loss of control
  13. I understand. Been watching them go at it for years actually. Veazy was getting the best of him until last years state tournament.
  14. I agree! Everyone overlooks the kid. He is a beast. Everyone forgets he beat Veazy. Think Gunner is going 190 next year. Does Veazy go 190 or drop weight?
  15. Correct. he was on the bottom and escaped. This was mid trying to score, he got around him and they gave his 2 but then took the 2 points back and did not even award him 1. Would have tied the match and went to OT. Really Really bad...kid was a senior and this was his last shot
  16. And they did come to the table and argue for loss of control which it absolutely was. You can pause the video with the Mater Dei kid on his knees with both hands on the mat. Worst non call of the whole post season IMO
  17. Not sure what that means but the two kids were COMPLETELY separated at 1 point. That was without a doubt an escape and the kid should have been awarded a point.
  18. Hmmm.... I thought it was the last match. I just looked. It was Mills vs Vanover to get to the 3rd/4th place match. That Mills kid got hosed. Not saying he would have won in OT but he certainly deserved a shot. Cost him his last chance to make it to state as a senior. Check out the last few seconds of the match. I think teams should get 1 challenge per event. This was def the worst call of the tournaments.
