    Just went and got our All Session tickets. The ticket window lady said the Ford Center is upset with Ticketmaster as it is all their fault. The workers were in a good mood but not happy about the will call situation. She said every All Session ticket is will call only and they have “thousands” of them to hand out. She said every “single session” ticket would be mobile. She said every window at will call would be open but still to expect long lines. Hope that helps.

    Has anyone figured out a fix for this yet? Anyone know how many tickets were sold before Ticketmaster "crashed"? Still not selling tickets.

    Ticketmaster showing tickets NOT AVAILABLE as of 4:30 PM. Wonder how this will affect ticket sales.

    Can they not pick an upper deck end section and hold 500 seats for wrestlers and coaches? Rope them off. Simple fix.

    Weird. That’s not what they did last year. I bought three individual sessions on Wednesday of last year.

    I can’t imagine it was more than 11-12k. The entire left side of the upper deck was completely empty. At any given time the lower section was at best 75% full. The right upper deck same. I think Gainbridge holds 17k.

    Do you think the "fun" event portion is ran by the same people who decided 2 tickets per wrestler was the best idea? I think the Evansville Sports Corporation came up with all of the events/shuttles outside of the actual wrestling. I have no clue. Just wondering if anyone has any insight.

    Now let’s hope the championship matches at Evansville have more light than last year. Those finals matches were extremely dim inside Gainbridge.

    It doesn’t help that they put the camera on the table below waist height. Really hoping they put them up on a pole or something finals. It’s definitely the glare of the arena lights. If it was raised even a few feet it would eliminate it.

    I have never watched online before. We always go, but plans changed. So you just have to keep up with matches on Track and then switch to whatever mat right?

    Which is a better way to watch? Do they allow all 4 mats at a place or you have to just pick one?

    I won't lie I cannot provide rock hard paper facts here, but I absolutely have and am seeing it happen in sports around Evansville. I have noticed it is happening at a much higher rate than when I went to school 25 years ago. We can't sit here and say it isn't happening. It is just the way things are done now. I am not mad about it, but I think it is really cool when a school sports team has success with kids that didn't have to transfer in to get that success.

    If a kid transferred 20 years ago it brought a ton of attention and IHSAA would conduct an investigation. I know in the SIAC alone you see kids transferring in and out of schools every single year and no one bats an eye. I guess it comes down to the voucher system as well. It seems overall the state, the school corporations, the private schools, and IHSAA just let it slide much more now than before. We can't sit here and say it isn't easier to transfer now than before. It is literally happening everywhere.

    Moving Brownsburg to New Castle somehow makes the most sense. Then at least you are spreading out your powerhouses across different SemiStates.

    Summer weather in Evansville feels different than South Bend as much as winter weather in SB feels different then Evansville. Pretty decent difference.

    For sure. You see it with all sports now that ihsaa made it easy to do. I was just curious. Being in the southern part of the state you always hear about CP getting a bunch of kids from Chicago area and whatnot but I have no idea if it’s true. If MD 14 all seriously went to Evansville Catholics schools that’s saying something.

    That’s awesome. I thought the 120 kid was at Vincennes a year or two ago. Could be wrong for sure.

    How many current CP varsity wrestlers went to elementary and middle school in the CP school jurisdiction? I’d be curious about teams like Brownsburg, CG, and MD too.

    Bring up a great point. In the last 5 years how many state champs didn’t get 1st at every level prior to state (sectional, regional, SS)?
