  1. Another packed room tonight at the #BoneZone. Got guys from all over mixing it up. Littell had some awesome technique and everyone in attendance should add his misdirection duck to their repitoire. Had guys training both freestyle and folkstyle, if you’re training either be sure to stop in one of these days and check this room out. Be ready to roll next Thursday at 6 pm.
  2. Straight from the indystar. States Brownsburg has the best combined scores. https://www.google.com/amp/s/amp.indystar.com/amp/1507804002 Here is the link. Not sure a bad stat is the correct term. I believe it is all relevant, happy and lucky to be at one of the best schools in the state.
  3. All I know is that Brownsburg was first in the state in ISTEP testing (Standarized tests). They also had all schools in the corporation be rated an A, for like the 6th year in a row. Top notch schools.
  4. Great technique from Cody LeCount today. Great experience for everyone involved to pick his brain. Had guys from all over Brownsburg, Ben Davis, West Vigo, Mooresville, Roncalli, Lafayette Harrison, Cathedral, Carmel, among others. Next week we got state champ Littell from Center Grove, make sure to make it out to the ‘burg for this one, 6pm. Come train with multiple state champions!
  5. I guess we’ll disagree, I do not like step out idea at all.
  6. Disagree. In old freestyle rules if I had a shot and other guy sprawled and we were moved near the out of bound line, no points we awarded when we went out. So that right there would be a judgement call...unless you were to say no points can be awarded, in that situation.
  7. Playing devils advocate on the “step out” rule. So if im controlling the center of the mat and shooting you to the out of bound line and I take one more shot and you do a quarter turn and shoot me out, I’m stalling? Also, what happens if I take a shot in the middle of the mat and drive until you’re off the mat?(not blantly shoved off). To me a step out rule would be too judgmental, if you want to enforce college rules, so be it. However, if you just say if you get shot out you can be stalling even if there’s a scramble. Not a huge fan of it.
  8. In all honesty, I think it is as big as Purdue’s. Purdue also has all the other equipment (treadmills, bikes, weights, etc.) so I think Purdue wins in that regard. However, our mats are brand new, and having coaches office and kids locker room attached is awesome.
  9. Awesome technique and an awesome room, kids from all over cams out to see this one. Make your way out to Brownsburg every Thursday to get in this awesome room!
  10. Good job and congrats on a great career.
  11. He did reverse Nolf and he was wrestling up two weight classes, give the kid a break. It was not meant as a taunt, again he was just trying to have fun with the sport (talked to him personally). Also, as someone stated already, he shook hands and was not disrespectful at all.
  12. He was just having a little bit of fun with the sport, there was zero disrespect intended.
  13. Come in door 15 Thursday. Take the stairs to your immediate right. Wrestling room will be right there. We start at 6pm with technique from State Champion Silas Allred!
  14. He did not live in the best neighborhoods and now he lives behind the Lee family. Also, no offense to the Evansville schools, but take a moment to look up where Brownsburg ranks in the state (academically), it’s near the top. Lastly, his dad got an incredible job opportunity here as well. Curious to hear why his future was better there.
  15. Man, I really hate it when families decide to move for a better future for everyone. Not sure why am MD fan would be upset...
  16. Rockin’ the scruff tonight, tomorrow the baby face will be out in full force.
  17. I’m Kyle Ayersman...but in all honesty, I need some region flavor in my life so I will be stopping by to see you guys.
  18. That’s a tough bracket. I remember my freshman year (2009 103) had 9 state titles, so this group has a chance to beat it! If anyone wants to do the math on the placers I’d be real interested in seeing how many placements the 2009 group had.
  19. Dorian Keys and Lawson Aiken are both undefeated in Indiana as well.
  20. Weird wasn’t it @IndianaWrestlingGuy that said Cathedral would dominate Brownsburg for the “foreseeable future”? There was something else that he said as well...he said he wanted to eat something of ours?? Maybe he can jog my memory. I know it got pulled down, however, we saw it...anyone else?
  21. Yes, unfortunately, I only won 3 Al Smith titles...you can blame @Darrick Snyder for that one.
  22. *Drake Campbell who placed ahead of Edmond at the Grappler Fall Classic
  23. Orioles came out to scrap, but the Bulldogs pulled out the victory. Brownsburg took 9 of 14 matches, some were very close. Looking forward to seeing what everyone looks like at the end of the year!
  24. Snyder don’t forget about that Skipper guy, he struggled this weekend but he’s a South Bend Adams transfer and shouldn’t be counted out.
