  1. Personally, I would like to announce my return to the message board. I'm back. Anyways, I think a couple of the picks are slightly off. You are missing a dark horse at 170 lbs. in Jonyvan Johnson. Hardcastle while tough, I don't think will be able to handle the heat. Also, in the descriptions at 160, Nick Potter lost to Baumgartner in the ticket round in the year of 2015 not Busse but I'll forgive you Y2. Also, whoever chose a freshman Winner over the seasoned and returning medalist Riley Rasler 1) has some massive pebbles & 2) is slightly delusional or a bit visually impaired. Here are the reasons why: besides him being a returning state-placer with only on loss to the returning state runner-up, he is tough as nails and has, I believed proved it to be so. Winner is a solid freshman, but we will see how he fairs getting thrown to the semi-state wolves. Also, not much can beat experience at this level. Enough said. Also, watch out for ole boy Josh Stephenson to open some eyes and make the finals. Finally, much respect for Joel Arney, tough as nails, but I have to give a shoutout to my boy Parker Bates. The spladle is a magical thing. Don't tell anyone, but Parker is much better than his turd brother Hunter Bates. oh well. Linn's Prodigy out.
  2. Is there any weight allowance for the tournament?
  3. Special Guest Owen Doster is there at least once a week.
  4. Y2 I'll flip some tables if Red doesn't get it. Come on he won one of if not the greatest Indiana high school wrestling State Finals matches.
  5. I don't know if this match will live up to the hype based solely on the fact that Coy is visibly hurt and nearly was defeated this weekend not once but twice. NO disrespect for Mr. Rasler and Mr. Rutter but they are not quite at the level of the best in the state that B Lee is. I think B Lee takes this one. Coy has a visibly injured wrist and potential neck/back injury.
  6. What does the #WAY2L stand for? Correction #WAYL2
  7. Personally, I would watch out for the New Haven boys. If the entire field gets the funk, we could pull out the team victory.
  8. Plus, the concussion argument is absurd because brain damage and a minor disformation of an ear are two totally different things. Please tell me the last time someone died from cauliflower ear. Don't think to long the answer is never. Concussions and cauliflower ear aren't even in the same league. Also, a concussion is not a visual badge. Your argument frankly sucks. Standing up for wrestlers everywhere. My man Y2!
  9. We are not ignorant wrestlers. We are the best of the best who go to war for 4-5 months out of the year and for some of us all year. There is no ignorance involved. We are under appreciated athletes who don't get enough credit for the time we put in and the numerous sacrifices we take. Have the ear is like our little stand out piece. In the grand scheme of things a little cauliflower ear won't ruin the rest of our lives. Honestly.
  10. Getting the culture to change will be nearly impossible. I know having "the ears" is something that every wrestler may not like but definitely respects. Getting that to change will be tough and personally I love that ears. It is what sets us apart from everyone else. Some what of a badge. Parents think deifferently but we wrestlers love it.
  11. 10th team is a JV Super Squad I heard a rumor at least
  12. 160- Hunter Reed CC dec. Nick Potter NH (14-8) 132- Owen Doster NH TF Chase Hissong LEO (17-2) Owen Doster NH dec. Matt Wright CC (12-7)
  13. Correction: Decatur not Booty Berne My dream matchup is Riser vs. Caprino aka Y2CJ41
  14. According to Ole' Y2's little rankings tab, there may be a match up or two in Berne this fine Tuesday evening that could have ranking and notable wins implications. P.S. The Prodigy is back boys.
  15. 120 came down to a very late takedown in OT by Hudkins over Miller on the edge of the mat.
  16. It is my understanding that a rumor has been around the block that the two gingers out of the Ft. Wayne Semi-State, Sawyer Miller and Owen Doster could be warming up together at Banker's Life. Now this could pose a real threat due to the heat these two produce from well uh their heads. So im just reminding staff to be prepared because it could get toasty in there. Also, Mike Riser I would like my t-shirt signed this weekend. *hint, hint*
  17. Lots of noise. Bright lights. The smell of fresh popcorn and chicken wings (my favorite). Lots of wrestlers. Tears. Jumping. Chest bumps. Many hand shakes. Whistles. Stuff like that.
  18. If I'm not on there I'll be salty.
  19. See you all tomorrow cuties pies. Let's make some noise in Fort Wayne!
  20. Austin Amstutz Sophmore of New Haven is in as the alternate. Carr is definitely out. Austin Amstutz of New Haven will move in as the 4 seed and the others from the Carroll sectional will move up accordingly.
