    Egolf was pinned by Bethel in the 1st and Lee pinned him in Semi State. And we will see what Bethel can do with Knapp Friday night. I say Bethel vs Lee in the finals three weeks in a row.

    I am not taking away from the fact the kid is a stud, but the best pound for pound I disagree with. It his senior year and he wants a gold so yes I think he is willing to go up if he does not think he could win.

    Are you kidding me? Nick Lee is pound for pound the best wrestler. I have a question for you James wrestled Red in the off season and won do you know what weight class that was at? 132! Why didn't James wrestle it this off season? Why is James nationally ranked at 132? And by the way he is also ranked well under Nick on the rankings as well. Just my opinion but Nick Lee has yet to see competition and James has seen it this year.

    No such thing as a lock it this weight class. But my opinion is Bailey with the Gold.

    I agree that we need refs. But I also think that the people that say if you have a problem with it then you should try it. Are you kidding me? I shouldn't be out there for the same reason they shouldn't. No experience. I have to say this if I saw a kid go down like Todrank I would have at least shown some remorse for my horrible decision. Also I guess there is another group that is to blame and that the ihsaa. We have refs that got an 80% on an open book test, that have been doing this for 2 or 3 years and have no business being on a semi state match while some of the best refs sit on the sideline or up in the stands. People need to understand that this whole we need to give everyone a chance theory has been tested and it failed. I say the best refs ref come semi state and state enough said. Do you understand that a lot of people do things with the best of intentions but they shouldn't be doing it at all. Come on man. Like you said these are our kids and that is why I feel it is necessary to say something. Their kids playing a sport not professional athletes. So please error in the side of caution.

    Yes. The match was on its feet and Todrank tried to roll through out of a shot. Lee then grabbed his upper thigh and lifted him off the mat. Todrank was holding the ankle and head was straight down towards the mat completely off the mat. When Lee went to return Todrank his face went straight into the mat and he screamed out. It the obviously pretentiously dangerous and the ref didn't bat an eye.

    Y2 said in a different forum that the released those brackets at merriville BEFORE the finals to all the coaches. And he said the brackets matchedTrack last night but ihsaa changed them this afternoon

    Sorry but Reitz has to beat Ferguson first. Not saying he won't but with this weight class you have to take it one match at a time.

    Everyone keeps saying that Bethel over B. Lee was the biggest upset of the tournament. But I say the refs were mine poor officiating. I'm sorry to say it but they messed up major yesterday. I am not even talking about the bad calls of what is and isn't a takedown. Or how they awarded takedown and then almost a minute later take it away. But how an 18 year old almost got paralyzed had he went down at a slightly worse angle then he already did. I don't believe Joe Lee did anything with evil intentions against Todrank in that match but people in the stand were yelling potentially dangerous well before it even got to that point and the ref didn't stop it until after he got hurt. There has to be away for refs to be held a countable for their calls some times. Or have we forgot these are just kids in High School?

    Track didn't release until today and they are different in over half the weight classes.

    ok now that the real brackets are up what are the good Friday night matches? 120 we knew would be good and two matches that will be awesome Friday is Ferg vs Reitz and Egli vs Black.

    From what I saw 113 was the only one that didn't change. Could be wrong.

    It was actually Posey County so Mount Vernon or Poseyville most likely. She definitely knows that in a time of desperation trow the headlock.
