  4. Goodwin hasn't been in the room lately, but I would guess 90/95.  Mis will probably be the favorite with a lot of those guys going to 95.  95 should be the toughest bracket if all those wrestlers end up there.

Maybe this could be the seeding criteria:

    1. Returning middle school state champ

    2. Returning middle school state placer

    3. ISWA folkstyle schoolboy state champ

    4. ISWA folkstyle schoolboy top 4 placer

    5. ISWA folkstyle novice state champ

    6. ISWA folkstyle novice top 4 placer

I would much rather have track seeding opposed to a blind draw.  They should add a box to add a wrestlers achievements when they are registering as another way to separate.  Because 6th graders will not have returning middle school placer criteria or even schoolboy criteria.

  5. 90 looks to be the same kids that battled it out at 75 last year.  Hopefully they separate them better this year.  It will be a fun bracket with Drousias, Mis, Campbell, Conley, Seltzer, Alstott, and Rioux.  Anyone of those guys could win it.

Talked to Drousias yesterday and he said they will prolly be at 95 as well.  I have noticed Freeman has been wrestling great, not sure if he will be at 80 or 85 though.

  6. 90 looks to be the same kids that battled it out at 75 last year.  Hopefully they separate them better this year.  It will be a fun bracket with Drousias, Mis, Campbell, Conley, Seltzer, Alstott, and Rioux.  Anyone of those guys could win it.

  7. 75-Trey Bates
    80-Alex Cottey
    85-Jesse Mendez
    90-Colton Drousias
    95-Logan Bailey
    102-Brayden Littell
    110-Alec Viduya
    117-Graham Calhoun
    125-Tyce Frieje
    132-Raymond Ellis
    140-Mason Winner
    150-Abel Verbeek
    160-Silas Allred
175-275????  (not sure what grade some of these big kids are in)

  9. This past weekend Indiana Outlaws took two teams to Toledo Ohio for the National Middle School Duals and placed 4th and 6th.  The gold team was really close to taking 2nd only losing by 2 dual points to the 2nd place team.  The team was a little beat up after losing 2 wrestlers to injuries earlier in the day or it could have been a different outcome.  I recommend this tournament to anyone debating on taking a team next year.  It was ran smoothly, great competition, great awards, and it was broadcasted on flo.

  13. Fabio Jr said it perfectly, the problem is the local freestyle tournaments are a waste of time.  The weekends after folkstyle state consist of some of the best national tournaments in the country and we won't be missing them.

  14. I think Mattyb and brey are right on the money with the seeding.  It would not be that stressful to do it correctly since you have to wrestle the weight you signed up for.  All you would have to do is close the sign ups Saturday afternoon and you will have that entire day to do the seeding.  Also there is an option through track where parents can state if their kid has met any seeding criteria when signing them up.  With all this information and time staff can post brackets the night before.  If a kid misses weight then he is out and his oppent gets a bye.
