So here’s why it’s hard to find these tapes like pre 1983 and back it was illegal to tape matches. Lol One time at the Ft Wayne semi-state I saw a guy filming from a picnic basket.  

I have 1978 and 1980 state finals. I think I can get 81 amd 82 as well!

Ahh all the girl’s worked so hard!! My hats off to them all! I have a lot of respect for them all!!

We are now a red county. Right now 2 parents per athlete. Monday Night I will no for sure.

As of right now I think we can get parents in. There will be a checklist at the door for each athlete. Parents only.

The South Girls pulled off a huge upset down 34-18 at the mid-way break to come back to win 48-46!! Congrats to all the athletes that came out to show their awesome wrestling Skills!!

We are excited to announce a wrestling dual meet between the north and south girls at Hamilton Heights High School at 7pm Dec 30th. We have put together a list of names of some of the best girls in the north and south of the state for a dual meet. I will release the names that we have decided on Thurs Night. We look forward to bringing some of the best high school girls in and giving the fans a teaser for the upcoming state championships. We will live stream this dual meet. Good Luck to those girls. The Indiana High School Girls State Wrestling Championships are fast approaching. We are waving the 4 weigh-in rule as a lot of schools are still closed. 2lbs will be added to each weight class. Jan/8th/2021 South Regional will be at Franklin Community High School. The North Regional will be again at Maconaquah High School. Weigh-ins will again be at 3pm and wrestling starts at 4pm. This just in 2 parents aloud only in the South not the North. 2 coaches for 5 or less girls and 3 coaches for 6 or more girls. The State Championships will change locations this year. We are back at Hamilton Heights High School. We will weigh in at at Hamilton Heights for the State Tourney at 3pm and wrestling at 4pm. All 3 tourneys will be live streamed for you. Please go to IHSGW.net to register your girls.  Follow the tabs on the front of the page. Remember if your boys on your high school team wrestle in the New Castle or Evansville Semi-State you will register your girls in the South Regionals. If your boys wrestle in the Ft Wayne or East Chicago Semi-State you will register them in the North Regionals. I have 1980 through 1983 bracket books from the State.

I know my senior year I was ranked number #1 and lost in overtime first round of the Semi State.

I cannot wait. I love looking for wins on Sat.

Ok so I went and look their is the column scoring an none scoring it is correct they scored 220pts. the othere were not added.

That should not happen. You have to decide who your scoring girl up front is period. If she gets beat then your done. I will make sure that's corrected immediately if its not right. You can only choose one wrestler at the regionals to score the whole tourney.

We are having parents register their daughters for the IHSGW State Championships. You must have your school register their girl wrestlers and have your high school coaches or assistant coaches take them to this tourney and coach them. Please understand if any high school girl has not been registered by their high school or head coach they will not be able to participate. Gary Myers Director IHSGW.

If any problems arise asked them to get Pat Culp or I.  4 weigh-ins that are legal. One of those weigh-ins has to be at scratch weight. This is no different than the boys just 2 less weigh ins.
