I would not say by 6 points or more. Tylin Thrine from New Castle is also a big issue you have to put into consideration when you say "will win semi-state w/o issue". That kid is a stud and I wouldn't be surprised if you see him top 3 at the end of the year. That entire 126 bracket is loaded. gonna be a fun weekend to watch
126 is going to be full of surprises!!!

Girls brackets released.

But please don't take my word on anything as I am a coach as well and I stay out of seedings.

Will some brackets have under 16 girls since some of the qualifiers only had 2 to 3 girls in a weight class?
If there are any brackets short of a competitor then the alternate form that from another regionals steps in to fill the bracket.

Can we get a list of teams (with seeds) and then how they actually finished???? Would like to see, but too lazy to do it because I just ate a whole large pizza! Give us the data so we can all judge if the seeding really sucked or not. Please???
I would love to share mine.:) Seeded 7th and ranked 8th in the state and beat 24-0 Heritage Hills first round, then wrestled Number #2 seed Delta and ranked 2nd in the state 43-33 then lost to #3 Western by 8pts and for 3rd and 4th place match we won 45-30 over Norwell.

Thank you coach!!
I was just asking Joe how to import results.
Great day of wrestling! A few hiccups!
Hoping it expand it to 16 teams next year!
It's fine if you go to your schools schedule theirs a place to add results of this tourney. I just need them to add it to my page.

Heights is in need of 2 duals or a tourney!
-
I'll say this the team that comes in the healthiest will win it. I always say it takes a lot of luck to win any state title. They just don't give them away. A lot of things have to go right leading up to the duals.

Surprises happen all the time. Guys get in trouble, miss weight, get caught in headlocks. These things happen.
Let’s not forget the not so bright things like getting caught at parties and such by the school!

What does that mean from a practical standpoint for the season
8 hours ago, brickfor6 said:The IHSWCA has presented many schools plans to fund and facilitate girls wrestling in Indiana. For example I know the Hobart AD and Head Coach made a proposal to facilitate girls wrestling and this was used in the presentation to the IHSAA. Each school will have to do it their own way, but as wrestlers we evolve and figure it out as a process.
I’m curious how was Hobart’’s plan present to the IHSAA. In writing or someone giving the oral presentation?
