  1. Lance is an animal and he would hit a foot sweep on anybody in the state and nobody in the state would be able to stop it. and also ya the moves and skill level of wrestlers is completely different but wrestlers back in the day were jus raw and tough as nails
  2. I think from 145-170 i think the only kid that could stand with him would be Tyler Willis. I think a healthy Tyler would win. But anybody else in the state i think he is going to beat them.
  3. its the state finals i dont think there is any weight class where somebody is easily going to win and this is a young weight class and there are plenty of tough wrestlers IMO i think Barry McGinley is going to surprise alot of people he looked really tough at semi-state with quality wins over Fee and Newkirk.
  4. if i remember correctly, gavin mcginley had a 6-4 match with cosgrove in the semis. cosgrove was almost headlocked with time running out. cosgrove was a beast and so is little tsirtsis, but i think cosgrove has beaten better quality kids, but both of them beat a returning state champ their freshman year. i have to go with cosgrove winning 1-0.
  5. Barry McGinley wrestled his butt off today. Beat 40-2 Bean, the beat Riley Newkirk who he had already lost to by 5 or 6 earlier in the season, then avenged his sectional title loss to Taylor Fee of NewPal, he later then ran into the unbeaten freshman stud Branden James from Perry. But hey, way to carry on the family tradition kid of the big McGinley wrestling family. I look forward to seeing the lanky giant on the podium @ Conseco. Getcha a medal kid
  6. Does anybody know how the ips kids are doing today
  7. The McGinley Brothers from Cathedral and Arsenal Tech have about 510 right now Tom-75 Tim-179 Gavin-165 Charlie-92
  8. I think if Cathedral gets to the finals they will send the team state out with a bang and an upset over Perry that would be good
  9. can anybody post any updates on here if we do not have a twitter
  10. You said several Irish wrestlers did nothing for 5 minutes and 30 seconds before getting their hand raised. And that the refs stroked the Irish to wins. You are right I said if the Irish win 120 and 138 and throw Vinny in they could have pulled off a big upset. It's not like those outcomes if they went in cathedrals favor tonight would be unrealistic. 20/38 both extremely close matches. I did not say they would stay within 20 but someone on this name did. I posted the results I thought would happen. Which if you switch 138 and hwt the other ways. I was pretty much right on with the wins.
  11. Yeah don't agree with me on Willis being on another level. Because tonight they def look about equal right? You got you answer to which 170 was going to end up on their back. Refs stroked cathedral to their 5 wins? So Willis, Harvey, Kinney, and Gillum did nothing for 5 minutes and 30 seconds of their matches before getting their hand raised as you put it. IndyT is going to have to get you off this board. You aren't making sense.
  12. Massengale got caught? Come on. Willis is in a completely different class. Tyler man handled him from the 1st second to the 59th second of the match. 120 and 138 go to the Irish. Then throw Vinny Corsaro in. The Irish pull off a big upset. 138 not a very well officiated match.
  13. Being from Indianapolis I know if it was all family cousins involved and everything the McGinleys would put up a staggering #. The head coach at Cathedral is Sean McGinley. I know his set of brother had the all time wins record until being passed a few years back. Brian's kids Tom, Tim, Gavin and Charlie will put up a big # to. At one of the duals for Cathedral someone said from like 72' to 2009 there was a McGinley or cousin on varsity for CHS every year outside of maybe 3 or 4.
  14. 106- pm by fall 113- pm by maj dec 120- chs by dec 126- pm by fall 132- pm by fall 138- chs by dec 145- chs by dec 152- chs by fall 160- chs by dec 170- chs by maj/fall 182- pm by dec 195- pm by fall 220- chs by dec hwt- pm by dec
  15. This wouldn't be the first year cathedral upsetted perry it would actually be the 3rd i remember chico adams senior yr they beat them and they wern't supposed to. not sayin its the same situation but i think that cathedral is the only team in the state that can actually keep it within 20 pts. hey stack up rele well from 138 up
  16. how does Wilson from tech at 113 beat the 4th ranked kid in the state and be ranked 7th at semi-state doesnt make any sense to me
  17. have the championship matches happened yet if they have can you post them or the team scores?
  18. Ohhh the Reidlings have always been abunch of cry babies the mom ran out on the mat last year at new castle
  19. i think warren is going to come away with second here and then portage
  20. Predicted Champs 106-Kuhn 113-King 120-Todd 126-Phillips 132-Moody 138-Venizia 145-Corsaro 152-Gillum 160-Harvey 170-Willis 182-Albertson (dont know anybody else in this weightclass but probably most likely to get upset) 195-Raypole 220-Knur but Kinney is right there 285-Benard
  21. at 126 i think that ayersman will beat the feild but with crume, boston, and binion in it thats gonna be a good fight for 2nd and 3rd
  22. is tanner lynd's picture just not the creepiest thing ever
  23. i think the singlets are tight something different and i bet the wrestlers think the same way
  24. i think gino gillum is going to win the 152lb weight class for sure his strength and athleticism is un matched the only person who is going to be able to beat him at semi state is connor mullins
