Congrats Wes its always good to see a home town kid do something so special. I know you have put a ton of HARD work into making this happen keep up that hard work. I hope you still have 2 items of unfinished business here in Indiana this coming season do.........

I agree with you the High school kids get 30-40 matches a year plus a month or two more of practice 5-6 days a week. The other thing is when you go to a tournament you may only get 1-2 matches cause there isnt that many 8th grade Cadets. Most of the matches after the high school season is over is a 8th grader vs a sophmore. Its a very tough year for a 8th grade Cadet.

I use a company called Flex Appeal give them a chance they do TOP NOTCH work. Great to work with with 1st class design artist. Never had a problem with any one of their singlets. I doubt Egli will be at 106 next year. Probley more like 113-120 I think he cuts to get to 106 now but see him in the rankings very soild wrestler great scrambler.

With a soild group of Freshman & some very soild upper classmen returning through out the state how many & what very good wrestlers sit behind someone next season????? There could be alot of very good kids stuck behind someone.

The toughest teams next season will be the ones putting in the work now. Perry always seems to out work everyone in the off season. I know Warren is working hard. Ive seen teams like Lawrence North, Lawrence Central, Franklin Central, Penn, Mater Dei, New Pal working and at other RTC. Ive even seen a good # of Whiteland kids getting around. I personal hope Roncalli is in the mix being a big fan of Coach Ellis & Millers. The off season is where these teams get TOUGHER the ones that put in the work get better & raise to that next level.

Been on a few of her teams... very honored to do so. There was one tournament in Ohio we went to she gave all our $$$$ back to us cause she felt we didnt get enough matches as a team. She is a great person very grateful for all her HARD WORK that she does for Indiana kids to wrestle.

Should there be qualifying again for ISWA Freestyle State?

Something I wondered if it would help with Freestyle & greco is why doesnt the middle school have a short season for these styles? At the end of folkstyle season there is a fairly long bit of off time before most kids start playing baseball. A sport that takes half the wrestlers from the sport. If you had a short freestyle & greco season maybe more kids would be interested in doing some more tournaments instead of just playing baseball. -
Noah Warren will be in the mix for sure. Great kid hard worker always getting better. Brenden Black will be a monster as well very good kid from the Region will turn some heads for sure.

Spencer Lee is a BEAST..... At the Philo no body even scored on him. 32 of the best kids in the around and he was at a "ELITE" level. He pinned everyone but one kid in the 1st period. Im a big Chad Red fan for sure but I dont see him beating Lee.

Brandon James is a GREAT kid very hard worker and willing to help the younger kids. He will win a state title if not 2 or 3. I look for Neal Malloy to be a machine next season after a disappointing state where he didnt get to prove his win over Mckinnley was a fluke he wont never be happy now. Tommy Cash is always working he will be soild again.

Coach Harding was a GREAT coach. The man will be missed for sure. Best of luck to you and THANK YOU for all you have done with the sport of wrestling.

KING ELLIS was a BAD BAD Man...... The thing is he is so humble about it and doesnt like to talk about him. He is all about the kids now getting better. He will always tell you he has had his time. But rest a sure he will still throw your a** any time he wants too. Lance Ellis you will always be my HERO. No one and I mean No one will ever compair......

Congrats McKinley.... You worked your tail off to win it the 2nd time. I watched you run to the school workout go to RTC workout again and run home. I really enjoyed watching you wrestle the last two seasons. Your a BEAST good luck at the next level. I sure wish you was only a sophmore.....

Perry was in a class of their own.... What they have been able to do is amazing and its not just the High School varsity team they have built STUDS all the way down to the PEE WEE kids. Week in and week out they have shown why they are KING of the mountain. Its a shame Mckinnley has to be a senior. I love watching the MASK.....

Id just hate to be the kid McKinley get 1st round tomorrow. God Bless him I dont think its doing to be pretty.
