    I sent my boys with their team to Indy and I must give wife some QT now. I could only go if one of them made state. They fell short by 1 match. So I will be watching web cast and holding my lady, plus all the snacks I can eat at a low cost price. Time to leave the board now. Almost match time.

    IMO : Look out for Alwine upsetting Welch. He battled Quiroz tough at semi-state last weekend and nearly had him pinned. Quiroz had to bridge for at least 7 - 10 secs to keep from getting pinned at Merrillville .

    I am going to say these will be great matches: 119 - McHugh vs Wedding 135 - Downey vs Acuna 145 - Lunford vs Matteson 160 - Sims vs Schurg 160 - Strange vs Rickenbaugh 160 - Welch vs Alwine (this may be the upset of the night!!!!! He gave Quiroz all he could handle. Nearly had him pinned) 171 - Coddens vs Frascella (Who wants some Stein?) Hwt - Meyer vs Hall Hwt - Maggart vs Forrest

    The first 3 steps are the slow way to get to where " onthesame219 " link will take you. But you can still use the last 2 steps to view.

    Click on the button the say " Wrestling Ind. State Finals " Then use a local zip code like: 46613, 46614, 46615, 46616, etc. one of them will normally work for you no matter where you are located. Then click continue. Once you are on the mat page stroll down to which video you want to watch. Some of the cameras are slower then others. Make sure you launch when prompt. This opens the media player. ENJOY!!!!!! 8) 8) 8)

    160 lbs is one of those classes that you have to be peaking at the right time. All these kids have technique and are strong but if you don't put it all together, well you go home. 8) 8)

    Coach, Again proof that you handled the situation correctly most spectators didn't see any or all of it. Send out those letters to attend invites or make that call. I believe you will get some takers on invites in 2011 - 2012 school year.

    Rematch of : 145 Roach - Lunford (good battle) 160 Quiroz - Alwine ( Alwine gave him a good one and looked to have him pinned, it was close)

    As the father of an Asthmatic wrestler (not this one) I can tell you that is exactly how Asthmatics look when they need their inhalers (GASED). If you had ever been to a match when that inhaler was not there you would speak/type more softly, take it from a father who has been there and had to rush his child from the mat to the hospital. My son loves the sport and wouldn't quit (he is out now : lost at regional). The inhaler allows people to participate who would not under other medical restrictions. I say to Asthmatic wrestlers keep kicking butt and taking names.

    Coach you are doing good things with your program don't let up on these young men. I can see from tonight you are working to direct them the correct way. My hats off to you. Keep up the good work.

    I understand you are a penn homer so I am not going to keep this going as an argument. If you were filming from the penn side then you missed it. Why do you think the crowd from the opposite side made the big gasp near the end? I will end with this and not respond again to this issue, THEY ARE BOTH VERY GOOD WRESTLERS. GOOD LUCK TO ALL!!

    OPEN YOUR EYES NEXT TIME AND SEE THE REAL PICTURE. I am not taking anything away from the penn wrestler, the proof is in the pudding. look at the tape. She or Sarah did not wear t-shirts this past weekend. The penn coach had to run down Sarah to give her a shirt after a loss and she did like the boys do when they come off the mat and pulled her shoulder strap on her singlet. The match was a close battle all the way and she was coming up and out of the down position when said incident started. I just noticed she stopped fighting for the up position at that time. Say what you will I was there and I want to see Indana's first female go to state. No excuses to be made.

    I think she can win. If you look at how close she was to that last escape, you would say so also. The wrestler in the championship match with her got a little too high on that singlet and I think that shocked her cause she stopped moving and wanted to avoid a JJ (superbowl) incident. (pulled her hands from the mat to protect personals) She will make the adjustment and win. That's my play and I am staying with it.

    The loss to Winkle was very early in the year. I don't think Coddens has lost since he forfited 3 losses at Al Smith. It looks like he is on a mission to prove something to somebody who said he's not ready. Also, I don't see 171 being weak overall, there may have a couple wrestlers that pulled some upsets or they are just peaking at the right time. Good Luck to all!!!

    I completely agree with having to alternates take the 2 "sick" wrestlers place. Maybe take them all out we don't want to get everyone "sick" because they show up!!!!!!!!!!!!! :'( :'( :'(
