    I will be there! Now I am hearing things that cause me great concern. Can someone that knows please confirm this? IHSAA is not MAKING as much money on this as they would like? Are they making money? Don't care how much, but are they showing a profit from this event? I understand that certain teams draw bigger crowds, as a business owner, you save some earnings in GREAT years to get you through the tough ones. If they are making $800.00 more then they are spending in bad years, then this is a tragedy. They will still have to award medals and trophies to the teams at individuals finals. Not saying things don't need to be improved, but you don't throw out the baby with the bath water. And by the way I DO HAVE A DOG in this fight.

    Cooper beat Kral at state? it went into overtime but cooper really did control the match the whole time.

    Nate Moore 189 from Perry Meridian did it his junior year then repeated But should have qualified sophmore year but couldnt do to injury.

    EVille Semi-state was tough as nails. they were the toughest semi state this year but 8 of those guys you mentioned out of the nine are graduating. Now that the season is almost over I'm predicting new castle will be the toughest next year. With Boston, Todd, Mckinley, all returning Along with very high placers like mullins, johnson, sliga, willis, and campbell it will be stacked.

    This causes me great concern. You can not look at another WRESTLER as a boy or a girl, it is another WRESTLER, that has made the same commitment as your wrestler. I have seen it many times at middle schools that an overconfident boy wrestler thinks he is going to go out there a beat a girl, then gets his lunch handed to him. Then all the talk is how boy A got beat by a girl.

    Not slamming anyone here, but are you suppose to wrestle until you hear the whistle or until the clock runs out? It amazes me that the "OFFICIALS", using this term lightly here, because there were other bad calls all day, wouldn't correct clock at some break in the action. It doesn't take that long. The clock is for the spectators not the wrestlers.

    I didn't see anyone down your son. From what I have heard your son is a great kid. I think people find it easy to take shots at you, since you are so vocal. You come on here time after time and expose yourself. Just 6 weeks ago you were on a different thread blasting PERRY about how they were going to get creemed by Roncalli. Then you start saying what a great job PM is doing. They are being sarcastic with you, as is the Ranking Guy. Best of Luck with you and your son next year at Warren Central.

    Some Teams are peaking at the right time while others are struggling to keep pace. BD PM and Roncalli are still peaking. I am changing my first prediction to PM has 8 champions and moves 12 to Semi State.

    LITTLE bias!?! Not even close. Of the 56 wrestlers moving on to Semi State you have 38 out of the WC Sectional and only 18 out of the DC sectional. Now maybe if you had 30 to 26 I could understand. 8 weights you have 3 wrestlers moving out of WC and at HWT you have all 4. Not going to happen. I have seen all your HWTS this year except Uhls, which I watched in ISWA last year. Has he put on a lot of weight? Great Season for a great kid, but he doesn't win this. He may go to SS but he is not winning this Regional. Ten Champs from WC. I think Tonte's crew might have at least 7 for PM.

    He won't beat Decker again. Only cause he won't have the chance. I see Decker and Naughton in the Finals. And the winner is a toss up. Decker beat Naughton by 2 in there only meeting and that was at County First round. White and Taylor in the consolation bracket and Taylor winning by pin late in third period.

    I think there is going to be a few upsets in the HWT Bracket at this one. I am taking Snyder or Stevenson to win it. I think they have both learned to wear Suter down and not tie up with him. Kaden's injury costs him the Regional Championship.

    You are correct. I think only 2 of these guys make it out of regionals. Decker, jackson and Schall are no slouches. Although maybe 3 will. Naughton looked impressive at Sectionals coming back from being down by 4 or 5. I couldn't believe the score was 12 to 11 for a HWT match. Have to worry about Cheh conditioning, only wrestled like 8 times and 5 or 6 of those went into overtime. Taylor even fewer times. White and Naughton Split this season Naughton getting a fall and White winning 3-0. Cheh Beat Naughton and Decker both in OT first weekend of wrestling. Hard to believe but Heavy weight wrestling this week end is going to be the SHOW stopper.

    Thanks for the information but I have a question. Are you telling me that all the seeds from 1 regional could end up in the same bracket at Semi state? But the luck of the draw? I was thinking that a 1 seed would be set with a 4 from a different regional and the 2nd and third would be from the other 2 regionals that filled in. So technically a heavy region with 4 really tough kids could move 2 or 3 to state. Please tell me more.

    I got there at 145 of finals at DC, so I don't know about the lighter weights. But if you stayed for the HWT finals you got your moneys worth. D-O-Guy you are picking uhls to beat Taylor? And on another post you picked White to win it. Where is the logic in that one? Uhls won't beat Shall or white. Jackson could surprise Decker. Taylor should beat Cheh! 3 Hwt are moving on out of DC.

    No I don't think I will admit that. When you look at who is there and all the wrestlers that had been ranked and that 171 and up. There will be 5 ranked heavy weights there. there are 16 sectionals and 25% of 1 weight class will at PM regional. An unranked wrestler won DC, although he was ranked earlier. and an unranked came in second at WC, which I don't think was ranked at all this year. Same for several weight classes, I think there will be 6 previous ranked kids at 215.

    Pending anything crazy at Team Regionals. I think Perry Meridan advances 12 to Semi State with 7-8 Champions, maybe 9. They are peaking at the Right Time.

    I think you may be as right on this one as you have been all year on most of your predictions and other comments. I don't think he gets past his first opponent at regionals, that's my opinion. Might make it to Semi state, but he doesn't win this regional. There are a lot of teams that have peaked at the wrong time. WC is one of those teams, as well as Center Grove. On the other hand Ben Davis, Franklin and Pm are getting the most out of there teams at the present moment.

    In the next 10 hours the majority of Indiana's wrestlers individual season will be over. If I did my math correctly 58% will be out. Estimating that nearly 750 Seniors season will be over, I just wanted let them know that they have gained valuable life tools that will enhance their lives in ways they can't even imagine right now. You are already in an elite club, you have endured the season in the weight and wrestling room, the countless hours running through your towns and school hallways, when so many of your fellow students looked for the EASY way through High School. Congrats to all of our wrestlers, especially our Seniors. Wrestle hard and stay healthy. Best of Luck to all our wrestlers.

    Way back earlier in the week, I said the same thing on this post. They will reconcile with Franklin just as soon as Yorktown or Cole's season is done.

    There wouldn't be 1 more if that wrestler decided to wrestle. Because his 2 weights that he could wrestle are filled with ranked wrestlers already. I know that if Tonte could have 2 teams that a few of his JV could be ranked. He just reloads every year. I think the dynasty will begin this year and Tonte could have a 3-5 year lock on TEAM State.
