    That must have been while Reitz threw his match to Black and Donaldson let Laughlin Pin him and Lawrence talked it over with Coviciu about how he would let him win the 4th meeting...Seriously think every kid wrestles every match regardless....or Maybe not

    Lady in Pink you dropped the ball...but hey at least you kept people outta the lower level bleachers and others behind the ropes in a "Standing room only" venue...Just 1 more reason to change Venue's!!!

    Especially when they announced (in the finals) Steven and he said under his breath through the microphone uhhh Lawrence you didnt put your last name...SERIOUSLY!!!! SOMEONE told you what it was just say it, its this kids time to shine not make a big deal of it....i about took the microphone away from him and jazzed it up a bit at least got the kids hearts pumping and the crowd excited for it....GUYS GOTTA GO!!!!

    14 CHAMPIONS 1 CLASS...move to another state if you want to be a group of other #1's....Best of the BEST PERIOD...work harder get better earn what you get, Its life...Hardcore yes Reality yes but sugar coating kids is what keeps them from working for what they want...good things come to the kids who put in the the Xtra work...if your coach is cutting it voice your opinions to school boards multiple other options than CLASS CHAMPIONS....read my quote at the bottom of my name its about PUTTING IN THE TIME...Success breeds Success... you can build baseball fields but if you cant get players there useless...

    Too far, some teams "Mine" are already 2 1/2 hours away....My question is, is MERRILLVILLE the biggest gym in that area?

    Im just guessing that those who want classed state champions were ones who never got to be 1? I may be wrong but why would a STATE CHAMPION even bring this up...i just asked my brother "Who was" and his response..."I was asked as a freshman why i didnt play basketball that i woukd probably be a starter. I Simply replied are we going to win a state title? How many other guys will i depend on to help win this for me? Coach: well you have no guarantees you'll win 1 wrestling either!! My brother: No but i dictate wheather i do or not and i wont feel as good if im an average player with minimal playing time so i think ill take my chances at my own glory"....

    Looks as if Malloy "HAD NO PROBLEMS" with this....and looks like we'll get to see this match under the lights... both Pin all the way through Semi-State i would say they are heads above the field in that respect!!!

    Rossville, 1 (Small) mat wall to wall door to door no coaches office to review matches with wrestlers...but with our 7 kids it works but hard to build a program with nowhere for kids...but we'll make due!! Ive seen Champions come from worse...and we share 1 room for High School and Middle school.....

    It depends, i coach at a school that has only had 2 Qualifiers Ever and 1 that moved in High School (Tanner Lynde) these boys walk by that wall everyday and see there pictures hanging up and they work harder now wanting to have to kniw THEY did it, and that they deserve being one of the Top 16 in the state...So im fine with it staying the way it is....

    Yeah i love it...Sectional 10, 7 of the teams cant field a full team...might want to realign with Sectional 11 just a thought or a 2hr sectional would be awesome...

    Lets guess which Semi-State has the most "upsets" (using the previews) as our guide for the whole tournament... Merrillville (11) New Castle (9) Fort Wayne (9) Southern Boys (7)

    Dont get them started on this...As a coach i disagree with this as well!! A: You have kid/kids move in B: Kids that wrestled the year prior and for sone reason sat out but are back (Seniors now) C: Coaches change which can change the impact it has on the program (Portage as an example) D: All sectionals arent equal in the way (Calumet 126" example) if that is your sectional your toast but you could have went to semi-state if you were somewhere else.. E injuries happen sometimes right hefore sectionals and 2 of them could ultimately cost you.. The list could go on and on!!! Why we just dont go from scores at Sectionals top 2 A Top 2 AA Top 2 AAA or would this be to rough? Then at Regionals you do the same and at the end of Regionals you'll have a better grasp on your teams at that point...Just not a fan because i know "As a coach to a new program" how big of a difference 1 year can make and it may mean nothing to these kids!!

    @ Logansport 170 wrestler A was dominating wrestler B then wrestler A hit a Spladle on wrestler B Ref CLEARLY looking at wrestler B's shoulders FLAT then wrestler B's coach brings it to the refs attention that Wrestler A's shoulders are flat also...the ref completely got away from the pinning combo that was being displayed by Wrestler A to slap the mat....Only when they got to the line to declare wrestler B the winner!!! You can only imagine what happened next.....

    Slightly higher than my prediction for TL Sectional but agree with most but 195 kidwell has to be the favorite here...and 126 Definitely the closest with those 4 most competitive weight class in the Regional...

    i would say that 126 4th could be 1st its that close between those 4..(and im hoping were 3rd to 1st)!!

    Pretty good Preview Dingo but @ 170 Wray North Mont,might be the sleeper as he has a win over Worm as well with a 2point loss to Ragains in the last meeting....
