I think it would be great for southern Indiana. You can see where kids attending these schools are really improving. I just hope there would be enough interest to support something here. How are south are you talking about?

Are you sure LeCount will be at 103 next year? He just wrestled 110 at Middle School State a couple of weeks ago. -
There is a large gap between 215 and 285, but I would be a lot of HW's don't weigh more than 250. I would think 235 would be a better class if you were going to add one.

The 110 weight class was loaded with a talented group of wrestlers. With wrestling for true 2nd draw isn't as important. The kid who should have won did and the kid who should have gotten 2nd did. With that said, Evan Loe did a great job all day as well. Another very talented wrestler in a tough group. My son was in the class as well, lost to Loe in the 2nd round and fought back to place. I don't know if there was a deeper weight class yesterday. If there was ... WOW

Do you know when the brackets will be posted?

Why do they use vertical pairing instead of line brackets? I have never seen a folkstyle tournament with the vertical pairings. Does anyone know the reason behind this?

Thanks for answering my question. I guess all weight classes are now .3 heavier. If you do it for one, you should do it for all.

I don't understand. If VanHook was over, how was he allowed to wrestle? It sounds like from the comments on this board, it is not a question of if he was over or not. So why was he allowed to wrestle?

If VanHook was truly over I can't imagine they would let him wrestle. Wouldn't be fair to the rest of the field.

Any other favorites out there at 95, 102 or 110? There are a lot of good wrestlers out there. Who does everybody like?

What do headgear, shoes, singlet, kneepads, etc. weigh? Can't be the full 3 lbs. My guess would be 2 lbs. at most.

I would think Chandler Carroll would be one of the favorites at 102, if he doesn't go to 95.
