MattM
Good two days of wrestling. What impressed me. 119 Carroll staying very tough on L. Welch and did not giving an inch. 130 Kelley Ev. Central I didn't expect him to pick appart Brown like he did. Both older Welch's Castle We knew they were top notch good but they proved it by completely dismantled two tough opponents in the finals. 215 Bass Jen. County I knew what I was going to see but glad to see him wrestle solid in his first meet. Yorktown still able to staying solid from top to bottom and have the confidence to win several close matches. Homestead had several wrestlers step up big and help their team reach 4th. TC Howe wasn't able to bring many wrestlers to the event but those that made it showed they want to help Coach Brown develop something.

We are still a young team that has a long way to go. Believe it or not we actually had kids at practice Monday that knew about the meet; for whatever reason they decided not to show up. I will deal with them Monday at practice. ( Honestly, I think that they were concerned about not making weight.) You have a very sound team that impressed me as well. I am looking forward to returning next year with my full team. It was my first time seeing the Welchs' in action and I must say that they are the REAL DEAL!!!! Coach Harmon is doing an excellent job down at Castle. My freshman that placed has a very bright future in the sport. Thanks again, hopefully we can set something up next year we may have an opening in our Super Dual Tournament next season Jan. 7, 2012

Coach Brown
what happened to Wilson @ 125? wasnt he the #1 seed? The #1 seed was Resch from Jennings County. Can't recall what happened with Wilson
wrestlerfan09
Resch was number two but was bumped to number one because Wilson showed up overweight and didn't even bother going to weigh ins.
toughguy
wow ... hard for me to believe he didnt even go to weigh ins if he was the #1 seed ... you would think he would have at least tried to weigh in
jddown
Hiestand had chamberlain on his back but was after a few seconds was rerolled to his back and the rest is history. At folkstyle state last March Chamberlain pinned Z. Schultz - Adams Central, B. White - Westfield and C. Downey Huntington N with throws or rolling through. Konrath from MV was the only one who must have been watching and beat Chamberlain in the 140 finals by decision.

treefiddy
he could have checked his weight before weigh ins and knew he wasnt going to make it on any of the scales already
