CHS Fan
Two area Sophmores (Gallegos) and (Reagan) both made it to state as sophmores. One didnt make it out of sectionals and the other one coming of a 19-14 record and not making it out of regionals. The time they put in, in the offseason is insurmountable! Look for next year for these two kids to headline the 215 pound class, I wouldnt be surprised if one of them walk away with the state title next season. Good Luck to both friday night!! drewboy78
Yeah these two are excelling as Sophmores in a weight class that dominated by Juniors and Seniors. What's crazier yet is that had these two wrestled at one of the other SS's they might be going to Indy as a #1 or #2 seed. Not meaning any disrespect to the other SS's....but with Merrillvlle havin Lentz and Cleveland!?!?!? It will be interesting to see their Friday matches. These two are going to see a lot of each other for the next 2 years...will be fun to watch! Congrats and nice job guys!
ontherise219
Nce job to all the South Bend 215's with Eric McDanials being the alternate and Lentz getting through it looks like South bend is a hot bed for
JimtownFather
Don't overlook Mishawaka Marian's 215, Robert Deering. He won the CMA tournament with only a half of a year of wrestling this year. Give him a full year next year as a Junior and it is going to be a battle to get out of the South Bend Sectional at 215.
