Galagore
How many states class only the team portion of the tournament? A simple reply of a number would do fine. Many people talk of classing on the team portion of the tournament, and I have no clue how many states have done this. Thanks.
Y2CJ41
From my research, only one and that is New Jersey. New Jersey has the same number of schools that participate in wrestling as Indiana also.

MattM
"40+" state went to a total class system several years ago before the idea of a a true team tournament really came up in most areas. Because of that you won't find to many state that would have this hybrid system of non-class individual evnet and a class team event. Because of this I would think at this point they would just work the team tournament into the already established class systems they have had for many years. Y2CJ41
In New Jersey the standard deviation for their school enrollment is 440 students, while in Indiana it is 704 students. The standard deviation shows the difference between the middle of the pack and the extreme ends of the spectrum. This is probably why there is not much discrepancy in small schools and big schools in New Jersey.
MR.Takedown
I would love to see this implemented in Indiana
