grappledn81
any brackets or any picks team race is wide open this year and really not a dominate team ought to be a good one.
B Campbell
It's gonna be who decides to wrestle hardest on that particular day!!! Anybody's tournament to win! Everyone has to make weight, not be injured or ill, and be in the right frame of mind! Oh, and luck might help! It might be the first meet this year we've had our full starting lineup!!! timbo
If you go by the seeds look for a lafayette sweep----Laff Jeff, Harrison, and McCuthchean appear to be in the drivers seat. Westfield not far away.
crashdavis25
Seeds in this conference are never quite what they appear. But, I agree that the Lafayette teams are strong. Avon, Westfield, Zionsville, Hamilton Southeastern, and Brownsburg all have individuals that will do well. Who's the dark horse??????
Swimlam
It should be interesting. A lot of the schools had no common apponents and no head to heads because schools that originally had some of the teams on their schedule either decided to not show up or dropped them from their schedule last minute. This is my guess because some of the schools south or in the middle I am sure did not see each other. When Acosta, (A very good Wrestler) does not get seeded that is a huge problem to me. Just my opinion
crashdavis25
Acosta not even seeded?!?! Now there's a problem. I'm sure he has a pretty good overall record. When does that apply?

treefiddy
im with GUT, where can we find these brackets?
timbo
Laf Harrison has 9 1st thru 3rd seeds McCutcheon has 7 and Laf Jeff 6 There will be changes to the seeds on Saturday---there always are--- The seeds never go as expected. As far as Acost---the seeds at 130 are quality individuals---all have records that are better. Gadient from Noblesville is 6th with a record of 19-6. Acosta I believe is 5-5. I know Acosta is very good---and I would not be suprised to see him place.
crashdavis25
Looking at Harrison's schedule(which isn't updated), they've only wrestled against Westfield(33-33) and Lafayette Jeff (31-34). How's they pull off so many high seeds?
wrangler824
no, they have wrestled against Fishers and McCutcheon too

GUT
It looks like Lafayette got all the love with the seedings and the Avon and the BBurg get none.. One first seed for the 19 pounder and then 103,125,135 all with 5ths and 140 has a 6th. WOW....
rdrodd1
Are you saying Oaks, Rassbach got 5th seeds and Hall got a 6th seed? What seed did Brandt get?

Some of these weights are loaded. 135, 140, 171, 215 and heavy. This conference is tough overall. 171 - Brandt and Dale will be a war!! Predictions anyone??? Miller News
If these seedings and pigtails are correct, I am seeing something that I haven't seen all year - A tourney without any forfeits. I doubt that will actually happen but it's nice to see all the slots filled
Swimlam
I would say that shows how competitive this conference is. It also shows reason why to not get rid of the 103 and heavyweight weightclasses. These are schools that go out an find the kids to fill their rosters. Nice Job HCC
