  1. I don't think the match would have been close if Brandon Wright, Blake Roytek, and Charlie McGinley were still on the team. If "if's and but's were candy and nuts, we'd all have a Merry Christmas!!" Yet another typical Cathedral booster comment! Learn from losses and build from it , fellas! No excuses in wrestling!
  2. Some of these weights are loaded. 135, 140, 171, 215 and heavy. This conference is tough overall. 171 - Brandt and Dale will be a war!! Predictions anyone???
  3. Looking at Harrison's schedule(which isn't updated), they've only wrestled against Westfield(33-33) and Lafayette Jeff (31-34). How's they pull off so many high seeds?
  4. Acosta not even seeded?!?! Now there's a problem. I'm sure he has a pretty good overall record. When does that apply?
  5. Seeds in this conference are never quite what they appear. But, I agree that the Lafayette teams are strong. Avon, Westfield, Zionsville, Hamilton Southeastern, and Brownsburg all have individuals that will do well. Who's the dark horse??????
  6. Agreed...he totally lost track of the score. He takes Edwards down, which he did easily throughout the match. Then, he cuts him with .20 to go thinking he was winning???? He circled for the last .20 when he could taken him down for the win. How embarrassing?!?! Roman will beat him easily in the HCC. Huizar from McCutcheon will handle Jordan as well. I like Jordan and his aggressive style. But head throws only go so far. Please take note Millers. Haven't seen many sweep singles or high crotches this year. Just an opinion.
  7. Yes, Robinson beat Roman. I do think Roman the better wrestler. He's way better on his feet. It just goes to show that anyone can get caught in a headlock(or two or three). Robinson's really quick to it after an escape. Noblesville teaches throws extemely well. Not a big fan of the style, but it can be very effective.
