These were the teams last year... I know Muncie South will be there this year, but I don't know who they replaced. And Yes, I believe the seeding meeting is monday.

Seed meeting is Monday at 7 pm.  Will try to have brackets posted sometime that night.  Muncie South joined and didn't replace anyone.  17 teams will be here in Portland on the 23.  We are in the process of getting in teams with full rosters.  AJ and Gonzo how are you doing?

I'm not doing bad. Just got out of the Navy and using my GI bill to pay for school. Its a pretty easy life, until I graduate!?! I'll be back in town for the ECIC though, so hopefully there will be some good wrestling. Thanks for the info!

Should get to see the first of possible series of matches this year between Armantrout (MS) and Gonzales (De) at 112.

Very interested in seeing the brackets this evening.

Stevie and Jacob should be #1 and #2 seeds at 112. I know Stevie automatically gets the #1 because he is the returning champion in that weight class. Shaw from Wes-del and Richman from Heritage will probably be the #3 and #4. 119 should be pretty good with Bradley, Striker, and Lanning. Don't really know of any other tough 119's. 125 will be the most competitive weight, in my opinion, with Perry being the favorite and Armantrout, Blanton, and Batt not far behind. Should be an interesting day.

i was just wondering Im a 17-0 freshman at the 112 weight class and ive beaten the 4th place finisher at this weight class last year and only had 1 pt scored on me all year.  so even though this is probably one of the toughest weight classes in the tournament what should i get seeded

UCWYATT,

Not sure what you will end up seeded. There is a criteria set in place that establishes seeds. Gonzales being returning champ should guarantee him the #1 spot as that is first criteria. Then you throw in there that Armantrout is probably undefeated, 2 X State Qualifier, and coming off of a Oustanding Wrestler Award down in Jeffersonville and he probably gets the #2 seed. Then you consider Shaw of Wes Del may be undefeated also. I would say #3 or #4 not knowing other kids to consider. Either way, you should hope to get a shot to wrestle Gonzales or Armantrout and see where you are at. They are both in the top level of that weight class for the state. Good luck!

I will be the 1st....

103  Phenis

112  Armantrout

119  Striker

125  Perry

130  Meska

135  Feichter

140  Martin

145  Ehr

152  Smith

160  Becker

171  Pfister

189  Garringer

215  James

Hwt  West

A little JC bias but not really that far fetched.  Outstanding wrestler will goto either Armantrout, Meska, Martin or Ehr.
