wrestlinghog
What teams will be there?
Insanoflex
East Noble Munster (obviously) Laporte Michigan City Griffith South Bend Clay Concord New Prairie (wow. You got all of Laporte County in one super dual) Pooled format. You wrestle round robin in your pool of four and advance based on your outcome. Winning records vs Winning records and so on. wrestlinghog
Ok, sounds just like the Charger Invitational. Except maybe for the seeding of the top four before the tournament begins.

tangarrray
Still no seeds or pool assignments? Looks like Munster and Clay could be a nice dual to see.

tangarrray
How are the pools set up? Just for example, Munster in the first 3 rounds goes against Griffith, Laporte, and New Prairie. So, you would think that those 4 are in one pool, but if you look at round 2 Griffith goes against Mich City which I would have thought was in the other pool. I always thought that in an 8 team pooled dual tourney like this that you would go against everyone in your pool the first 3 rounds then cross bracket against the other pool the last 2 rounds. Theoretically, you could have 3 teams at 3-0 after the first 3 rounds.
DGelarden
The format of this years event doesn't have two structured pools. Because some teams had already wrestled each other - and others wanted or had to see certain teams for conference and sectional seeding purposes - There wasn't anyway to pool the teams and avoid/create this. Therefore, we decided to assign three duals - then based upon those results - see who should wrestle each other while we eat lunch. I am pretty confident we will be able to get a clear picture and find a winner.
tangarrray
Not a bad idea. So many times teams see each other over and over throughout the season. This concept will give the teams and kids some variety.
