CE Fisher Posted March 13, 2009 Share Posted March 13, 2009 Shields showed in his last fight against Paul Daley that he is not a very good striker. He even had trouble finishing once it went to the ground and Daley is awful on the ground. Lawler wins by KO as long as he keeps it standing. Dingo Brigade Posted March 14, 2009 Share Posted March 14, 2009 Semtex Daley is an elite striker so I don't think it's fair to expect Shields to be on a par with him on their feet. Shields showed an excellent chin and got it to the ground. Lawler is a better all-around fighter than Daley and he's a home run hitter, but Shields is so methodical and doesn't stray from his gameplan. Lawler is the bigger, stronger fighter and I think his size will help him keep it standing. Lawler by decision. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
