I was looking at the state ranking and seen Flamme was ranked and Schultz was not, this is why I was suprised.... Congrats to Schultz. How far did he go last year? buckpatrol Posted February 2, 2009 Author Share Posted February 2, 2009 As far as Myers and Monix goes it was AWESOME myers was in total control until about 5:00 or so and he gased Monix came back w/ a takedown to make it close. I have to give props to Paul Maldonado the official for calling the match. It was a tough situation and he made all the right calls. there was actually a point where Monix took Myers down, cut him and got another takedown before Myers even got to his feet. I was not rooting for either of these guys but it was great to see Monix have the presence of mind to cut Myers, wait for the escape point and then to take advantage of the opportunity of Myers not getting up to gain another take down.
