Im going with Bell at 171. The Delaney/ Bell match at NN invite was a very close match though, Bell hit 3 petersons during the match and looked a little winded at the end. Hopefully Bell picked up his conditioning regimen a little since then. If he has he should be looking at the crowd at Conseco from the floor this year....

Its a conspiracy! All of the coaches from the CP sectional get together every year after the seeding meeting and complete the ritualistic cut your hand and become blood brothers handshake and swear to never release the brackets of the CP sectional to the rest of the world. Any violators of this compact are given the choice of getting beheaded in a sacred location near Lowell OR they have to be Janice Qualizza's personal assistant for a day at the Merrilville Semi State. Now the world knows the truth.....

I will miss my son wrestling this weekend at North White while I will be coaching at Merrilville SS. He understands that my first obligation is to my HS kids right now but it still stinks missing it. I am VERY thankful that Rensselaer finally moved their middle school tourney from the weekend of State Finals to a later date in march. It has been pretty hectic the last few years trying to scramble around and get to Conseco on Saturday after the middle school meet is over with, not to mention missing Friday Night really sucks!

Does anyone know when West Central had their last State Qualifier? The only one I can remember from back in the Day was Bushman. Has there been any more since then? Thanks, Copper1

I believe that the format used this year for weigh ins and having to pay online with track wrestling is going to hurt the attendance at this tournament..... I have been wrong before so hopefully I will be eating crow in a few weeks! It may be that some people are waiting until the last minute to make sure that their wrestler can make the weight class also. ???

It was a good call from where I was watching, and an exciting match. I was not rooting for either of these guys but it was great to see Monix have the presence of mind to cut Myers, wait for the escape point and then to take advantage of the opportunity of Myers not getting up to gain another take down. Very smart wrestling! 8) -

Braden Atwood will not have a close match at this regional, guaranteed..... Soon to be state champ! 140 lbs, I believe Lynde from Delphi will beat Rowe. Seen Rowe wrestle and was not real impressed. Good wrestler just not State Finals material. Watched C. Ray from NN put a spankin on him earlier in the season, wasn't even a close match ( 145).
