maligned Posted December 4, 2010 Share Posted December 4, 2010 It seems like they were most likely going to redshirt him at some point. When do you think they should have done it? I was a little surprised he didn't wait till next season and make a run at the Olympic Trials and everything that goes with that experience. They must just be thinking there's no way he'll legitimately challenge for an Olympic spot in 2012 (which is true), so he might as well take his redshirt as young as possible while there are other guys they can hand some mat time and build for the future.
