  1. yeah im pretty sure it is, and dont think a returning runner-up will be ahead of wright and kief.
  2. possible a returning weight class champion?
  3. whats his record? dont know him but if hes not even ranked in the fwss i wouldnt say he is a bamf, although if first year than he does have some natural talent for the sport.
  4. seems hard for merrilville ss to admit ft wayne ss is better at just one weight class haha..this will be an interesting weight at the fw ss to see who beats who
  5. i see it being very difficult for ranking guy seeming that campbell beat harvey who beat todd whom beat gonzales who is randels only loss yet he beat campbell. very interesting scenario to me.
  6. is beating campbell enough to move logan to the top of the 112 in this semi-state?? and do you think thatll will drastically decline campbells stock in the state rankings losing to an unranked wrestler?
  7. 103-Phillips (Union County) 112-Beck (Mishawaka) 119-Lovejoy (Bishop Luers) 125-Wright (Warren Central) 130-Tsirtsis (Crown Point) 135-Norton (Carroll) 140-Porras (Hobart) 145-Roach (Crown Point) 152-Bennett (Highland) 160-McMurray (Portage) 171-Duckworth (Union County) 189-Atwood (Delphi) 215-Cleveland (Lowell) 285-Travis (Merrilville) M SS=8 NC SS=4 FW SS=2 EV SS=0
  8. i agree with heartbraker, im not saying dylan green will place top 3 or whatever but there are three guys ahead of him that have losses and did not place last year where as dylan did place and has not lost and beat good wrestlers, i believe that is enough to "earn" credit..just my opinion tho
  9. navygonzo, i think if the jv team does win they arent actually going to be the champions and the second place team would be the champions..not positive tho..
  10. Indianapolis 33, Calumet College of St. Joseph 12 125 - Josh Allen (UIndy) won by forfeit 133 - Ethan Harris (UIndy) won by forfeit 141 - Chad Allen (CCSJ) def. Johnny Henry, 3-1 149 - David Lopez (UIndy) def. Brandon Ward, 8-4 157 - Bryce Givens (UIndy) def. Derek Allen, 5-3 165 - Nick Smith (UIndy) pinned Lance Surma at 1:08 174 - Shelby Mappes (UIndy) def. Jack France by major decision, 16-4 184 - Dan Bedoy (CCSJ) pinned J.T. Jenkins at 1:22 197 - Dustin Boyd (CCSJ) def. Keith Smith, 4-2 285 - Lynn Panko (UIndy) def. Artie Grubby by technical fall, 22-7
  11. these new ranking seem sketchy Y2! hahaha marion must be stacked!!!
  12. duke kid is pretty tough but i doubt gets out of semi state depends on what kind of draw he recieves, his match w/ sparks (peru) was 3-2 but his two were both escapes late in the second and third. sparks nearly road him out in the second. scotts got a good chance if he beats green at regionals for the draw. that match was very close at peru.
  13. Eastern has beat western this year in a dual and individual tourny
  14. i was just informed that there will an extra two pound allowance for this tournament can any coaches confirm this? thanks!
  15. i know at my old high schools room any former wrestlers are more than welcome to come in and help, even ones fresh out of highschool over their xmas breaks and what not. however, concerning being a full-time volunteer/coach i believe 21 and older
  16. ok thanks MATTM, i was confused on if there had to be 6 at that weight but i noticed it has to be at or above.
  17. what if a kid makes scatch weight once at a tournament seeing 5 dual matches then has wrestled up a weight all year until the allowance. i just calculated that there are four more meets for the team so that is only 5 weigh-ins for the actual weight. will he be able to wrestle that weight then for sectional?
  18. ok thanks y2, i agree w/ the way theyre ranked just was hoping to see a score between the two of them.
  19. at 103 have Busz-Whitko and Bevans-Yourktown wrestled eachother?
  20. truefan, my guess would be no one because i dont believe taylor wrestles any "real" good teams that im aware of.
  21. at 119 Evans is listed twice...watch for miller NW to finish in that 2-3 spot too..hes a tough kid
  22. bova will get bonus points on Martsoff, no way beck loses, and also stahl will not lose..might even major tonte.
