  1. There were several athletes dealing with illness and I heard at 100 the #1 Tate St. Laurent was dealing with the flu and #2 Connor Maddox had a really bad ankle injury. Both of them forfeited on their last match, hope for a speedy recovery for both.
  2. What happened to from the ticket round, Reidling 152 Warren Central vs. Clinkscales N.C.? Did he just get worked. He has been dominate pinning a lot of the field sectionals pinned everyone. Regionals pinned everyone but in the finals.
  3. Slight upset....New Pal's Connor Robinson winner by fall over 5th ranked Neibarger of HSE I disagree about this being a slight upset, this is huge. Robinson just took out a Regional Champ and State placer last year. I saw this being a tight 1-2 point win for Neibarger. Good thing he has one more year.
  4. What happened to Max Hernandez from Warren Central 182. Did he not make weight????
  5. Can somebody post the semis for each weight that way we can see who made it to semi state. Thank you.
  6. Warren Central advances to Team State. Defeated New Castle 75-6, then Jennings County 33-25.
  7. Warrior Nation is back on the map. Nice job tonight. Good luck at the last Team State.
  8. Nice switch at 152, with 4 studs left looks like Warren has a great chance to pull off the win.
  9. Have they started yet? Any results?
  10. Does anyone have the results from this sectional???
  11. Goofy Trip, used and perfected by Jimmy Perry Warren Central circa 1999 and 2000 seasons. This move was unstoppable and goes for 5 and the fall if performed correctly. Devastating!
  12. Team results? Any upsets from the big matchups?
  13. Great season and career! You dominated the field this past weekend. Good luck at Indiana, can't wait to watch you in the Big 10!
  14. Johnson - Jones was the best wrestler at the tournament (189). He threw Sliga last week and stuck him early in the second period at Semi-State. He beat Atwood in the finals under the lights. hhhmmmm enough said. Got to love the Tiger. By the way go to this link to see some good pics. http://www.indystar.com/johnson Look under IHSAA state wrestling finals
  15. Congrats on a super senior season finishing with a State Championship. I can't think of anyone so deserving on winning a State Championship. You have worked so hard for this and you earned it last night! Love the Tiger shirt it was awesome, by far the best get up at the tournament.
  16. So lets start it up. What do you think was the most exciting match of the night. I have to go for 189. Warren Centrals Michael Johnson-Jones avenging is only loss of the year to Delphis Atwood. What a close match the whole time and the overtime win by Johnson-Jones. Sweet tiger shirt by the way!
  17. Do we have the final results on the scores of this? Mishawaka should have it but I would like to see how the other schools panned out. Especially since there were a couple of schools with 2 champs. Warren Central and Crown Point.
  18. I wouldn't say he got caught...I would say he got tossed. Sliga scored the first takedown on a flurry on the edge. Second takedown was legit. Then Johnson-Jones had the throw tied up tight and hit it there was no getting caught here. He got beasted! Big future for Sliga the next three years, he is a very technical wrestler.
  19. Johnson-Jones pins Sliga in the second. Semi-State Champ in a dominating fashion today. Three falls and a major in the finals.
  20. Jones might have his hands full with Sliga, but remember Sliga is a freshman. This time last year Sliga was in middle school and Jones was at New Castle for his second trip to state. This year will be his third and final year look for some big noise Saturday. Jones is a man among boys. I look to see a close match but Jones will wear Sliga down in the third period if he makes it to the third. Jones Semi-State Champ.
  21. 103 - Josh Farrell - Greenfield Central. I saw this freshman wrestle yesterday and he is the real deal. He teched everybody. This young man will make some noise.
