  1. If Mullins was smart he'd stay out of Tsirtsis' weight class!
  2. We are getting updates here a whole lot faster than we are on the IHSAA website. They've only updated the 103 lb. brackets so far. Maybe Bobby Cox and Jay County's AD are in charge of updating the website.
  3. There's an Applebee's on SR 3. On Broad Street is Durham's. It, in my opinion, has the best food in town. Top Hat Two has the best pizza but you can only get it to go. Top Hat on Broad and 25th has pretty good food. Lida's Restaurant is terrible. Out on 38 is Route 66 Diner. It's decent too.
  4. It was all the wrestlers from Winchester, Monroe Central and Union City. Some of Randolph Southern's wrestlers made it, some didn't.
  5. I wonder if he's 86% satisfied with this solution. :
  6. I didn't mean for this to come across negatively and I certainly am not knocking New Castle's wrestlers. I just think they could do themselves a favor and try to toughen up their regular season schedule. They wrestle a ton of matches so lets try to make as many of those against quality opponents as possible. Looking at Campbell, he's only faced three ranked wrestlers out of 50 plus matches. McKinley from PM has faced nine ranked wrestlers. Mullins has faced two ranked wrestlers out of 50+ matches. I just wish NC would look to upgrade their schedule a little bit. I think, while some of their wrestlers might not have 38-2 records anymore (not talking about Campbell and Mullins who are capable of beating anyone in the state), they'd be better prepared for the tournament. Just my opinion. Here's hoping Mullins and Campbell can bring home two state championships in a couple of weeks!
  7. Not really stunning. New Castle has a lot of pretty records but don't get out and face a lot of great competition throughout the year. That comes back to bite them when they have to face tough kids like Roncalli has.
  8. I believe the decison was made for New Castle's kids to stop shaking hands with opposing coaches after matches after a couple of opposing coaches had some unflattering remarks for Trojan wrestlers. This move was made to prevent any type of altercation.
  9. It is not a coliseum but rather a FIELDHOUSE. No it does not sellout anymore, it probably has been over a decade since it was last sold out. I believe in in 2006 when New Castle, returning 3A state champ, faced Muncie Central, returining 4A runner-up and Archrival, there was like 6,800 but I haven't seen much more for just a basketball game > , I hope this saturday we have a good showing for these wrestlers ;D, should be a lot of fun 2007 - New Castle vs. Muncie Central
