  5. http://www.trackwrestling.com/teamtournaments/VerifyPassword.jsp?tournamentId=51653009 Follow the coverage of all 12 mats all day. Championship Gym Mats Streamed All Day with Trackwrestling integration.
  6. The schedule for the finals on Mat 1 is determined by the 3rd, 5th and 7th place matches in the same weight class. Here is the explanation using some hypotheticals: Assume we are talking about Intermediate 100 ... on the bracket sheet the semi-finals are match numbers 4055 and 4056 (mat 4, bout 55-56) ... the championship match is given bout number 4072, and after a few wrestle-backs the 3rd,5th,and 7th places are set at match numbers 4073,4074 and 4075. Bout 4072 (championship) is electronically re-routed to Mat 1 (by Jean Whetstone - the wizardess of oz in the back room - head pairer in indiana) and comes off the laptop on Mat 4. Patt Van Horn (tournament director) watches the flow on Mat 4 (and all the others) and she waits until 4073, 4074 and 4075 are wrestled ... then 4072, the championship match is set to "on-deck" on Mat 1. Result: 1: all contestants in your bracket can watch your final live, 2: after it's over the bracket is complete, 3: the good ISWA folks running the awards area can see it on the system and print the winners bracket 4: and the group is ready for the podium. so the short answer is: if you want to know about when the championship match for your bracket is about to be wrestled and streamed on Mat 1 ... keep an eye on the bout numbers on your original mat and bracket. hope this helps for Greco this weekend.

  11. NWCA / USAW National Scholastic Duals April 13th-14th Wabash College, Crawfordsville Indiana High School State All-Star Teams (Juniors, Sophomores and Freshman) To ALL Wrestling Supporters: Web Streaming is putting our sport in front of all the fans who can't make each and every event ... they can watch it live or catch the action archived post-tournament on YOUTUBE.com. This presents a fantastic opportunity to get some sport specific advertising for our many fans, camps, and organizations. Imagine your logo, camp ad, company flyer, product flyer, etc. flashing across the screen repeatedly during breaks and in-between matches. A great example is the recent Olympic Qualifier broadcast last weekend during the USAW Folkstyle Nationals Championships in Iowa. A sample of that event is at: And the template for inserting your logo/ad will look like: http://gallery.me.com/markdurham#100783/AdTemplate&bgcolor=black Wouldn't it be great to provide your fans back home with live video and get some benefit for your group, camp, company or product. Here is the detailed scenario for this event: We are committed to at least 4 live feeds (mats) ... we have 8 mats currently with a likelihood of 10, so roughly half of the mats will have coverage. The cost (with shipping) to rent these 4 high-definition systems is roughly $300 per system. If we had 12 interested parties who would like to support this great event at $100 apiece, we are covered ... if we have additional funds we will add additional systems and coverage. If any team (or team benefactor) would like to fund an entire system ($300), we will make sure that all of their matches get full coverage. The shipping date for the systems is Monday Morning, and all are shipped with everything pre-loaded (including the advertising) ... for this reason, we need to know by Friday Noon if you are interested, and need all subsequent artwork emailed to us by Saturday Noon. It's an easy decision ... $100 to support wrestling, your State Team, and to get some recognition for your efforts. We hope to hear from you. Regards, John Cook, Tournament Director jmcook1949@yahoo.com
  12. Congrats to all the Indiana wrestlers this weekend... and to C.J. Red on his 3rd USAW Folkstyle National Title, this year bumping up 21 pounds to win the School-Boy 98 lb. weight class. ... and a great big shout out as well to all of the Indiana ref's and pairers at the tourney in Iowa ... if you watched the streaming video, between the Freestyle (Olympic Trials Qualifier) and the Folkstyle Ntls. it looked like an IWSA Event.
  13. they have now been ported over to "youtube" and can be accessed on the www.iswa.com main page ... look for "State Finals Videos"
  14. They were streamed to USTREAM.com and embedded on the ISWA Site ... the matches were stored on the USTREAM site and will be ported over to the ISWA site soon ... if you want to watch the replays in the interim, if you go to USTREAM.com and search for "red cobra" ... they are all there. Broadcast Software
  15. Where to start. First, I would like to thank all of the people who helped us run our tournament ... Officials, volunteers, vendors, and Uindy wrestlers... Their efforts are very much appreciated by me. 650 kids in 70 brackets with true second and round robin brackets makes for a lot of great wrestling action. We had two issues I would like to address: The morning session was run on ten full mats with champ matches streamed live on mat 1. We went with full mats because of complaints about 40x26 foot squares. A week before the tourney, as we were going through a final punch list I was told we couldn't have the 2nd gym from 1-5 ... That the university had scheduled a church basketball game in there. Not happy but to late to change venues. Not knowing how many contestants we would have my dilemma was whether to split mats for Session 2 or run 6 fulls and reopen the other 4 at 5:30 and move brackets over. I didn't listen to Coach Red and opted for staying on full mats ... My bad. I am sorry. Issue 2. Out of state satellite weigh ins are to be conducted by licensed officials only. There are no faxed weigh ins. Short answer is that it worked for 3 years, but there were a few issues this year. Going forward we will use Mat-side weigh ins on sunday only. Saturday weigh ins are over. 90 minutes prior to wrestling, The first weight Class on each mat is called to the weigh in room (There will be 4 stations) ... And weigh in off the bracket. Wrestlers wear a singlet and shoes (about a pound) and will get a two pound allowance. I will open 3 hours prior to wrestling and provide check scales. Must make weight. Weigh ins will be conducted by our officials. If you feel the need to come by and vent in person I am working ISWA, IHSAA, and NCAA events every weekend through April. Email me for the location nearest you. Please stop tossing Coach Red under the bus ... Any gripes you have should be directed at the proper target, me. We try our best and always try to make it better. Congratulations again to all your wrestlers. Anyone who has the courage to go out in front of a crowd, shake hands, and go to battle has already won. Mark Durham

  21. Both had great tournaments at TULSA NATIONALS, C.J. finishing as tourney runner-up and Ben placing 6th. One tough tournament!
  22. To prevent a long day for everyone on Saturday, we are going to split the day into two sessions ( like Indy Nationals ), with the PeeWee thru Novice Divisions going early from 8:30 until they finish between 11:00 and noon, and the Schoolboy, Cadet, Junior U/V/S starting as soon as mats are available ... but no sooner than 11:30 a.m. This means that for Schoolboy C/J/V/S we will extend walk-in and Saturday weigh-in's until 10:30 a.m. Also, for Greco on Friday, we will finish the PeeWee thru Novice Divisions a little earlier so they can get home at a decent hour to rest for Saturday. Walk-in's welcome ... flyer is at our website www.redcobrawrestling.com
  23. Does anyone out there have a filled-out bracket book for our 4 semi-states? If so, could you take pics of it and email a copy to redcobra@mac.com ... thanks in advance.
  24. Check out the new 4 mat dashboard ... as a viewer it's free and refreshed every 20 seconds or so.
