    Although most here on the indiana mat will be enthralled with the Saturday regionals, Indiana Hoosiers will be trying to improve their position within the Big ten conference. Not just team wise, but individually for NCAA qualifying purposes. I normally would be planted at one of the regionals Saturday or if the opportunity arose , at Wilkinson hall helping Angel and tsirtsis get the men ready for battle. Man this is killing me having to stay home.

    They still have Michigan state, that can be a measuring stick for the Hoosiers. I have state 23-9 in the dual , but anything can happen. Indiana just needs matches. Huskers present a bigger problem, but the reps are good for the younger guys to see where they are at. So let’s get it on!

    Agree here, remember Illinois and IU recently? Granted , Indiana is no where as deep as Purdue is right now but matchups make a big difference in dual competition. Just wait till Big Tens or NCAA, Boilermakers will be fine.

    Good effort by an under maned squad today. The indiana high school kids need to take notice at what the culture is getting to , at Indiana. They can be a part of the transformation.

    Honestly, I’m not going to say that I expected a win over northwestern, but I’m looking at a young squad that st times doubting themselves sometimes. All things equal, The mental to the physical is as 4 is to 1 in this sport. Keep it up Indiana.

    Good showing by all indiana kids in this match. And the Hoosiers put on a good show after that Illinois debacle. On to Northwestern now. Keep up the pressure Indiana.

    Today at noon eastern time. 11 central. Will the Lee’s be wrestling? Following this contest about 2 eastern,the Hoosiers get after it with Northwestern. This is a tri dual at Evanston. Probably on big ten plus only. So just the money guys will be able to watch.

    To say the least! Man that was a gut punch. I thought Schroeder may have been on a mission to be the man for the team, now he needs to reestablish himself for the big show. Sometimes bad things need to happen to bring out the monster.

    Next up for the Boilermakers is Wisky. I’m feelin a W in this one. But man, so close last night. Nothing to hang your head on. The Illini are much improved this season, Hef and the assistants are coaching them up. I can see Illinois up there bumping Nebraska and penn state this year.

    From my personal situation being around great to elite college wrestlers, they all seem to be in the upper level on the IQ scores. Has to be something to that. = success on the mat.
