  1. Pendleton Heights had 21 qualify with most of those from the Lawrence Central Sectional.
  2. McGinley lost to Tassef...i read earlier
  3. You don;t get the leg cradle at the this level very often. WOW! Hynes looked good.
  4. Dingo - Did Robinson get headlocked by Moats?
  5. How did Cuevas from NC get pinned? Any recaps?
  6. Dingo, thanks for the updates. Since I cannot be there, I will take them however you choose to send them...unlike some others. I appreciate your efforts!!!!
  7. I was sticking to the top three, but Kieffer is another legitimate threat. Further proves my point about New Castle.
  8. New Castle could win at: 103 - McKinley or Phillips 112 - Nelson or Mullins 119 - Wright or Eppert 125 - Quiroga 130 - Spencer or Cook 140 - McGinley 152 - Sullivan 160 - Todd 171 - Duckworth 189 - Hodges All of these kids are in the top 3, except Cook and Spencer, and they were once up there. We will see in 11 days!!!
  9. I know Eppert and Wright have been mentioned, but what series has involved the state finalists (1&2) for three years in a row, if they both survive the weight class this year. There are several series where one wrestler had the upper hand, but these two kids have both won BIG matches against the other. I heard Saturday's wasn't as close, but I wouldn't count Eppert out this week in New Castle.
  10. "The Blind Squirrell" Great pic!!! Coach Strader used to talk about "the blind sow", but the blind squirrell works also.
  11. With Campbell out, the complexion of this match changes pretty drastically. I am not sure how good the JV wrestler is, but I would think that Roncalli should win.
  12. I might think Perry would like to start at 130and create a large lead with the strength of their lineup from 130-152. What happens if they do not get many maj. decisions or falls, though? It might give the less experienced wrestlers a lot of unneeded pressure late in the match.
  13. This has already started with central Indiana getting handcuffed. Where is OUR local regional?
  14. I would say that you are 100% correct. But maybe their 119 will struggle in the first round.
  15. It is great to hear that he wants to continue to wrestle. It is also encouraging to hear that as much as wrestling is an individual sport, Warner is a great teammate as well. Good luck this weekend!!
  16. I will guess PM gets 12 through. 112 and 199 will be questionable, but I would never be surprised to see both young guys win and make it a sweep to SS. I can't wait to see Odom and cook wrestle. Have they wrestled this year? Odom is unorthodox and has shown the ability to keep advancing...just watch for the cradle.
  17. 103 - McKinley (PM) over Phillips (UC) 112 - Nelson (LN) over Hawkins (CP) 119 - Wright (CA) over Eppert (AH) 125 - Quiroga (LN) over Tsirtsis (CP) 130 - Spencer (PK) over Harper (MI) 135 - March (EN) over Roach (CP) 140 - McGinley (CA) over Sandefur (MI) 145 - Young (CM) over Bennett (AH) 152 - McMurray (PO) over Sullivan (CA) 160 - Runyan (MA) over Powell (NR) 171 - Duckworth (UC) over Wedding (EM) 189 - Hodges (SM) over Graber (NR) 215 - Cleveland (LO) over Baker (BE) 285 - Chalfant (WI) over Cuevas (NC)
  18. From Indy, but the North has been pretty darn tough lately. Center is a close second, closer than most want to admit, and the south is not very deep. They have talent, but it does not seem to have the numbers the other regions have.
  19. Berryman too? That will be an entertaining match. Berryman vs. Quiroga and Wright vs. Eppert are two matches that are worth the price of admission.
  20. I am sure thatCastle has improved, but why does Mater Dei get so little respect EVERY year. They will be in the semis of State, AT LEAST!
