  1. Our first home meet will be NOVEMBER 4TH VS. Campblesville(Kentucky)--We also are wrestling the EMU OPEN the following day. We are working on a few other meets as well. I'm pretty sure a few are set, but I don't want to jump the gun if they're not.

  3. Yes-UFC is a term many people use for MMA. Thanks for the post Insano! BB-Not everybody is as "mma savvy" ---But the after party for this MFL even is at the Tilted Kilt and we plan to watch the remainder of the UFC card feature Belfort vs. Silva.---I am the Co-Main Event btw Hope to see some of you there!
  4. Thank you. I appreciate it. Again, the more the merrier!
  5. Thank you to the coaches that have replied thus far. The more the merrier. Thanks again in advance. Coach Kraus Assistant Coach @ Indiana Tech
  6. Coaches, We at Indiana Tech are interested in recruiting throughout the state. In order to do so, we are collecting emails from all of the coaches in Indiana and creating a database. Please private message me in order for us to get your email addresses. Indiana Tech is an NAIA school and we will be competing in our first season of wrestling next year. We will be able to compete immediately at the nationals. Also, since we are an NAIA school that enables us to give out athletic scholarships if we wish to. For more information on Indiana Tech visit indianatech.edu. We are also planning on doing some things in the future that would benefit not only Indiana Tech, but also Indiana wrestling as a whole. Thanks in advance. Nick Kraus Assistant Wrestling Coach @ Indiana Tech
  7. BTW Jag I was teasing you on grammar as well...Big Hawaiian -Great point!!! I have seen Tyler wrestle-he is tough and it should be an interesting Merrillville Semi-State
  8. Where will you be next weekend? We will get you your tech shirt...I am avoiding a Y2 + Kraus fight at all costs!!!
  9. CSM- You made me self-conscious so I started watching this video a few times. It really wasn't a bad shot or "dive", but yes I could have set it up better or waited. ---The guy that I fought there has years of Thai fighting experience though, so either way I didn't plan to stand up with him.
  10. haha...Devildog...We have other commits that are going through their financial aid stuff. We also have a couple older guys that have wrestled in college and are transferring here from elsewhere.
  11. I've been working on the striking, but I'd rather go to the ground. In the 11 fights I've had I've only stood up with somebody and decided to "bang" once. I got stuffed on two takedowns and then took him down finally, he reveresed me and we both stood up and then I decided to throw. It worked out ok.
  12. I'm still a nomad basically. I am looking for a permanent spot in the Fort Wayne area. Any suggestions? No, Dave and I just did grappling.
  13. I had the pleasure of rolling with Dave (and getting owned) a few days before he left. I was pretty confident he would dominate! Way to go Pee Wee!!!
  14. I'll autograph your chest thats it.
  15. Yeah I don't know what I was thinking...I'm much better with side control too! Thanks for checking it out!
  16. I agree with BB145!!! I fought my first amateur fight when I was 19. I had 10 amateur fights and I finally have fought my first pro fight and will be fighting my 2nd pro fight on February 5th. Things move quickly. I just turned 23 and I was able to have all of these fights along with wrestling in college and working the last 4 years. Had I not been wrestling in college I would have probably fought around 20-30 fights. A 17 year old body isn't nearly as strong as lets say a 23 year olds body. Brooks, Jackson, etc...they will be successful fighter in the future and this rule does suck for them, but if I were them I would think of it like this...it's just more time to hone the skills!
  17. The assistant wrestling coach for Indiana Tech is extremely good looking.
  18. Matt Graham vs. Wyatt Hickey Dustin Pape vs. Devon Morris Derek Duszynski vs. Paul Sirk...those are 3 of the better fights.... I'm fighting my 2nd professional fight on February 5th at the South Bend Century Center
  19. Bologna!!! lol...this movie is good...Many of my former teammates and friends at Trine liked it too...I think any publicity for wrestling is good publicity...I liked the movie a lot personally. Not to ruin the movie for those of you who haven't seen it, but at least they didn't have an unrealistic ending...
  20. I'm still kind of a nomad because I'm finishing my last semester at school. Right now I am training at Blake's Muay Thai in Kendalville. I really like it there.
  21. I won my pro debut on Saturday by first round arm triangle. I was rocked early in the match from catching a knee square to my jaw, but I battled through it . I was happy with my performance. I will put the video up asap. I defeated Minun Shaw Bradbury who has fought 9 times professoinally. My amateur record concluded at 10-0 Now I am 1-0 as a professional and I hope to keep this going!
  22. hahahah lol ... here is dustin pape's fight http://www.facebook.com/video/video.php?v=452816615041#&ref=mf
  23. hopefully pat will get on here and fill you in, but i know he got pretty sick...not exactly sure with what, so he didn't have enough time to train...but my fight was the 185 pound title fight, normally i would have fought 170, but my training partner got hurt so i moved up because i didn't feel like cutting the weight to be honest...but i do know pat has been training will team bulldog in osceola, which is awesome...i started off there, but it's quite a drive now considering i have nobody to go with me
