  1. This is exactly what I thought you were fishing for.
  2. And the question is, what is appropriate and who makes those standards? This message board? I will wear my jeans and keep it classy. If that is allowed.
  3. My point is, it is better to be classy than to just dress classy. Sure if you can do both more power to you.
  4. LOL. We said the same thing at the same time.
  5. Joe we fight about this every year. I don't see a thing wrong with a nice team shirt tucked in, with some blue jeans that do not have holes in them. Now if you are going to be under the lights at State that is another story. I would happily wear the suit with pride.
  6. The bottom line is I would much rather a coach have some class and wear blue jeans than deal with an a-hole in a suit.
  7. Shut it Funk! No one asked you. Enjoy your mountains and leave us cornfed plains people alone.
  8. Because Bellmont is not just going to roll over.
  9. He is like the grumpy old troll. Joe have you been watching to much Dora?
  10. The only team that I have seen wrestle this year is Crown Point. And I believe that EN could run with them. When you are that level you know it is all about match ups, current health of the team, and bonus points.
  11. Oh and it is probably a good idea for the coaches to get it also. That way they don't pass it on to their kids.
  12. My wife is a teacher and she sent me a couple emails in the last couple days for me to go get it. I heard it is really bad this year. Good advise jchas.
  13. My opinion is this. The really great upper weight wrestlers, and I am not talking average, wrestle like the lighter weights. It is that simple. Wrestling is wrestling. A great double leg works at all levels. You just have to be strong enough for your size to do it.
  14. Not sure I can remember ever posting anything that negative about the upper weights. I obviously have my opinions, but I have just sat back and watched this one unfold.
  15. We think the website is having database problems. But go ahead and rub it in.
  16. Don't forget the double collar tie.
  17. Joe you got lucky with one slide by against me and you still can't let that go.
  18. Fair enough. Sorry my chest always puffs out when they pick on the little guys.
  19. By the way this is the exact argument I wanted to get into. Maybe I should have started my own thread.
  20. Why? Because they are bigger? The true test of an athlete should be how he or she can handle their own weight. Wrestling is the best sport in the world because you can constantly test yourself against those that are your equal in size. In reality though the only thing that matters is: are better than you were a day ago?
