Ol Angel is a smart cat he def knows who Joe Walker is.. with his kin wrestling at Edgewood you know he knows the studs around that weight and he's been recruiting heavily in state.

youth programs might not be on par with the rest of the schools is only reason I can think of..carmels is getting better but I have no clue about why ben Davis can't even fill a team.

Farrell @182 also missed weight and we didn't get to see him vs Carson AT spartan classic.. only time they wrestled last season carson won 11-0.. Was really looking forward to that possible match up... Carson's also beat bacon 10-0 both times they've wrestled in the past..but that all don't matter until they wrestle again..

I can vouch this young man is all class...I seen him in defeat go over to the opposing guys father and compliment the wrestler that he just lost to in the nuway national title match.. most kids would have stormed off and been in a bad mood.. Delton did none of that he actually was happy for the kid and that's knowing delton had beat that kid the year before... that speaks volumes about his sportsmanship and character.

jake you are very tough especially being a ssq your first year.. trizton is like my nephew and I train him in off season and I wanted tell you that you did a solid job and don't get frustrated if you are in a tough match vs a very tough experienced young man..if you can keep your cool during those tough matches it'll help you a long way come tourney time.. you're a very good athlete keep working hard and don't let your temper hinder your growth..I had a talk with trizton about the exact same thing after you 2 wrestled and your match got lil heated... regardless if you were a foe at the time I am a wrestling fan first and I am a fan of a good wrestling stories like yours..so good luck the rest of the season and stay healthy young man!

Y2 has been vocal about this issue and I appreciate that he has made an effort to get ppl on board ...He also makes it known he's aware of ppl loopholing the function..we as a whole have to make strides in getting information reported and help the sport we all love keep evolving..we owe it to the sport of wrestling and to the young men and women competing who not only entertain but inspire us as a wrestling community!

the notable win section is very helpful.. it's the team's putting in team scores and not match results that hurts ppl and that's out of the sites hands if ppl don't wanna spend the time to do it...

182 Carson danville beat SSQ Jake Combs 13-2 (combs beat returning SQ kyler Funk 9-4 earliern in day) in a very chippy match... carson 14-0 with over 80 takedowns on the season. 170 Mahan pinned Connersville Massey 152 noehre tech over Easton Williamson Hw From Roncalli pinned Sniders Hw sorry I can't recall the names that's all I can recall

you're right BUT when a coach is recruiting a kid it helps when he has the notoriety from legitimate wrestling sources.. you're right in the sense everybody can be beat regardless of the number next to a wrestlers name... but imho it gives us all something to talk about, gives some wrestlers more motivaion and when getting recruited it helps when the coach has a general idea of the quality that wrestler has beaten or lost to... rankings don't make sense whenever they don't align with actual results but our homies here do a good job using the results they have been given and ranking accordingly.

btw the brackets had a lot of questionable alignments..Coffman and mahan should not been in the semis..Coffman was up 10-4 and not caught and pinned.. both guys looked superb.. something tells me Coffman will be stronger than ever and learned from this set back... and Hadley Harrison vs Lowery was also a head scratcher on why they were on the same side.
