  1. Being an elite high school athlete with endless possibilities on where to further your education and athletic career can be an overwhelming task. A lot of factors to consider, things change over time and individual circumstances change throughout life. You can have whatever opinion you want, but making snide comments about a high school senior that is a great kid and as humble of person i have met, speaks more to your character than to his. Wherever he feels is best for him you can either support that or just move on with your life. Congratulations Christian! Look forward to watching you crush it on the next level
  2. We will be taking a 2 week break from Jimtown RTC and will resume practice on May 31st. No RTC on 5/17 or 5/24
  3. Jimtown RTC tonight will feature Special Guest Thomas Pompei head wrestling Coach at Indiana Tech! Looking forward to having coach Pompei back in the scrapyard. He has done an outstanding job at Indiana Tech and this is a great opportunity to come and get better. 5:30-7:00pm Enter Door A2, Must have a USA wrestling Card
  4. 5:30-7:00pm Tonight in the Scrap yard. Been a solid room each week, looking forward to another good one tonight. Enter Door A2, must have USA wrestling card
  5. Back at it Tonight in the Scrapyard 5:30-7:00pm. Enter Door A2, Must have a USA Wrestling card

  7. 5:30-7:00pm Tonight in the scrapyard! Looking forward to another good group. Enter Door A2, Must have USA Wrestling Card
  8. Tonight 5:30-7:00pm in the scrap yard! Room has been really good with a lot of area wrestlers pushing to get better. Enter Door A2, must have a USA wrestling card!
  9. I couldn't agree more on this. I am not sure why we would not want our top officials at the state finals each year. It is frustrating to see some of our best guys in suites or sitting in the stands because of the current rules we have in place. Like you stated if we use ratings voted on by our coaches why does it really matter how long they have been an official, example if you have a 2nd year official but he is being rated by the coaches to do a semi-state or state finals then let them do it!
  10. Tonight 5:30pm-7:00pm in the Scrap Yard. Should be a good room and a good chance to get ready for Folkstyle State. Enter Door A2, Must have USA Wrestling Card Starting Next week we will be back to Tuesday Nights for the rest of the off season.
  11. Great room last night that included 5 State qualifiers, always fun to watch guys scrap and try to improve their skills. Join us next week on Wednesday 3/9 at 5:30pm-7:00pm. Then every week after that on Tuesdays.
  12. I read that as you will only get free entry coaches band based on this number. So 5 wrestlers 1 free coach band, if you have 2 additional coaches they would need to buy a spectator band, but could then get a coaches band. I don't know this for fact but that was my interpretation.
  13. Jimtown RTC Tonight 5:30pm-7:00 in the scrap yard. Great opportunity to work toward those goals you have for next season. Enter Door A2 Must have USA Wrestling Card
  14. We will be starting up Jimtown RTC this week. For the first two weeks we will run our RTC on Wednesday Night because we are finishing up our club season. After that we will go back to Tuesdays the rest of the off season. Great opportunity to get better with a lot of local wrestlers. This room has hosted multiple state place winners and state champions as well as future studs who are trying to reach that next level. Wednesday March 2nd 5:30-7:00pm Wednesday March 9th 5:30- 7:00pm Tuesday March 15th: 5:30-7:00pm Every Tuesday after that 5:30-7:00pm excluding Moratorium Week in July Open to Junior High-HS-College Must have USA Card Enter Door A2
  15. Hey we have all messed up the spelling of a kids name a time or two. My biggest problem with this post is that he spelled the name of the mascot wrong and still proceeded to give us a potential line up...
  16. My favorite at Jimtown is our senior 120 who is an outstanding kid having a great few week run toward the end of the season. Won our conference with a big win over Lewis from New Prairie, followed it up with a sectional title, avenged a loss in the regional semi finals and got huge fall in the regional final which helped us win a team title. He came up just short in the ticket round last week 6-4. He has only wrestled for 4 years and never made it out of the regional, super special season for him.
  17. Mishawaka Sectional: Penn and Mishawaka should have a decent team race and will be well ahead of 3rd. Quick glance picks 106 Shmitendorf 113 Bennett 120 Sandefur 126 Vargo 132 Walker (Best Potential Finals Match up) 138 Harper 145 Hollyfield 152 Mabie 160 Steenbeke 170 Valdez 182 garza 195 Chavez 220 Grange 285 Kendall Elkhart Sectional: Should be a interesting day and 4 horse race for the team title, based on seeds Goshen looks to be the favorite. Elkhart, Jimtown, Northwood all in the mix as well. Should be a fun day.

  19. Yeah not sure what I was thinking this morning definitely 182!
  20. 195 is going to be fun to watch State Ranked 1 Buchanan CG 2 Cruz CP 3 Veazy FW Snider All 3 of these guys are studs and I look forward to the match ups.
  21. I haven’t seen the others in person this year and I’m sure they are tough based on results I have seen. I have seen Rochester and agree depending on match ups and seeds they have a tough squad and not a lot of holes which is a good recipe in 1a and 2a duals.
