  1. Other semi states have live feed going on... wish we had that at Evansville
  2. I really appreciate the help. Terrible time a year not to be at home!
  3. If someone could post result as often as possible that would be greatly appreciated. I'm stuck in Afghanistan at the moment so I don't think I'm going to make it before the finals are finished.....
  4. Give me updates brother.... Don't think I'm going to be able to make it
  5. Mckinley wins this one and the big one under the lights
  6. Former 2x state champion and my Brother In-Law from Lawrence North High School Brandon Ingalls and his wife Betsy and unborn son are needing the prayers from our wrestling community. Brandon's wife and son are having a very rough time during the pregnance. I'm not going to go into details but they both need our prayers. Please pray for all 3 of them and the doctors that will be doing their best to keep them well.
  7. Hey does anyone know who cewrestlingfan is..... Just curious who you are
  8. Does anyone know cewrestlingfan? Just curious who you are.....
  9. Lose? I didn't know that word was ever in a wrestler's vocabulary this weekend
  10. I'm taking Raley over Kieffer, and over Jackson but I think Jackson and Raley is going to be an awesome match.
  11. I understand there are a lot of matches that have to take place and several different ways this could go, but if Devon Jackson and Ethan Raley meet in the finals, who wins? I'm taking Raley to win 135 anyways. I just haven't seen Jackson wrestle many times so I don't know a lot about him, other than he is very good.
  12. assuming everything goes as I see it happening, Cody will have Brooks in the semi's (Brooks has a tough match in the quarters with Price, and I don't know anything about the kid from Elkart Central that Cody has, who must be pretty good) but assuming these two meet in the semi's, what is the result?
  13. I will say this for Bowman's regional, there were 3 ranked kids in that weight class and the Haak kid from Danville isn't bad either. It wasn't that easy.
  14. The ihsaa is not who should be flooded with emails. Eastern H.S. is the issue here. That coaching staff and administration is who needs to hear about how the rest of the wrestling community around the state feels about this.
  15. Doug Blubaugh had a great place. That raised barn was awesome, which also doubled as the dorm.... and the swimming pool.... pool, pond... pond will do for you. I remember frog giggin' and the rope swing.... best camp I have been too (I went several times).
  16. It's true that "Mac" never competed in high school but I do know he wrestled some in college. These guys that never wrestled just became students of the sport and were involved in everything. I know both Coach Strader and Mac were involved with Freestyle and Greco (the best styles of wrestling) for as long as I can remember. Both were coaches for Team Indiana for many years.
  17. Zach I believe you are correct... I don't think Coach ever wrestled in high school or anything. He might have started wrestling in college or something like that. Coach still lives here in Indiana (south of Indianapolis) but goes to Florida every winter to live the good live while we are shoveling snow. He is usually around for the first part of the season (he comes to a few of our dual meets) before he heads south.
  18. Get well soon coach. Let us know if there is any way we can help out. Josh Sabik
  19. Brandon Ingalls is on the southside of Indy. He's been known to find his way into a wrestling room when work allows. Case Hooper lives in Chicago and has a son that is wrestling now. Gill Journey was helping at Pike last few years but I don't know about this year, I haven't seen him. McCubbins is still around and working, (what's it take to get this guy in our room), but he is doing good with a great family. Last I heard about Toby Turner is that he had moved back to Indiana (Monrovia area I believe) several years ago.
  20. Askren looked really good. You call it funky takedowns, I call it good technique.
