  1. Now that you mention it I never considered the practice partners. I get it now. Let's have 3...no.. 4...no... 5 class champions and then give their practice partners a trophy also as the top tackling dumbie for each class. It is better to be a small fish in a big pond, then a small fish in a small pond.
  2. I have read these class wrestling posts for the last 5 years, and have never commented because I have never seen it as being anything but fantaciful. But now it looks like this is actually gathering steam. So here are my two cents: I understand class wrestling from a team standpoint, but for the individual tournament it makes zero sense. It is already classed by weight. There is not an individual advantage attending a huge school. If I am a 135 pound wrestler, it does not matter if I go to a school of 50 or 5000, I still have to be better than every 135 pound wrestler in the state to win the 135 pound title.
  3. Have they stopped wrestling in Decatur? I would think Belmont should get mention as one of the top teams.
  4. Janney is on a different level. It is at the top of the podium.
  5. Y2, NECC had 7, you missed Hamilton.
  6. In addition to Y2's FW matchups, also 112 Randle HN Roe AC 125 Barroquillo PH Armantrout MSS (Barq wins this, but to have two outstanding surnames like this matched up has to get a mention) 285 Eck FW Con Meyer Bel
  7. http://www.mishawaka.k12.in.us/mhs_files/voices/dualcast2.htm Go to the link above and you can watch the action live.
  8. Ever? I thoght Roman gladiator battles were the toughest sport ever. You know one guy lives other dies. I'm not sure HS wrestling is on that level yet.
  9. After looking at the list of quick pins, I would like to offer some solid advice. If you are wrestling anyone from S.B. Adams, don't step in and give them your head off the wistle.
  10. Can someone please go over to the Indy Zoo and pick up a gorilla or grizzly bear so that Chalfant will be challanged tomorrow.
  11. Ft. Wayne 130-The top bracket with Shepard, Fiechter, Egolf, and Alles should be awesome matches in opening and ticket round. 152-Kurtz-T. Baker ticket round

  13. Broadcastsport also has "updated" brackets. Not many results, but it looks like they do have the changes to the brackets.
