  1. I was literally 10 min away from the HS and couldn't make it. Seriously who has a wedding on a Sunday afternoon! Caught some of the archived video, as well as, the live feed while on the way back home. Great production.
  2. Green gets the fall for Bronze. Impressive showing for his first worlds. Burroughs adds another gold to his collection with a tech in the finals.
  3. Snyder winds Gold. As my 6year old often says "I did not see that coming". Hard fought battle against a very tough Russian.
  4. Another interview on about their decision. https://bwi.rivals.com/content.asp?CID=1801704
  5. Great news for the Lee family. Man has this one reminded me how time has pasted. I first meet Chris when the boys were real little tikes that where just venturing from club practice to some more advanced clinics. Mostly due to what a great guy Chris was and how energetic the boys were, I continued to follow their progress through the youth ranks. I can't say I'm suprised that both Nick and Joe are making such an impact nationanally. They have been driven to excell at every step of their wrestling development. This is a testament to a family that is dedicated to ensuring their sons grow are deficated and hard working young men in everything they persue in life, as well as, the sacrafices the family has made to help make the boys goals a reality. Congratulations Lee family and MD Wrestling.
  6. Robbie Smith loses to the Russian Beast in the Bronze Medal match 10-8. But Smith put up one hell of a fight in a very active match at Greco HWT that left the Russian completely drained. The crowd acknowledged Smith's great effort by loudly chanting his name even though he was defeated.
  7. Bronze Medal Match Bisek 0-0 after the 1st period. He fought off two good attacks by the Iranian. 2nd period Iranian gets a passivity and Bisek puts him down. Leg foul on the Iranian during the list Bisek leads 2-0. Bisek captured the bronze medal with a 2-0 win. This is Biseks second world bronze in as many years. Back to the world of work tomorrow, so keep those great updates coming Dingo. The info you are putting out is much appreciated.
  8. Nice defense from Par Terre for Bisek that was the match difference.
  9. Winner of Bisek match also has a shot at Bronze and will qualify the weight for the Olympics.
  10. Saddiros with big score early but sustains an injury to his eye on the throw. After a medical assessment action continued but the Algerian has definitely working the eye over with his head since then. Winner moves in to the Bronze Medal match. Bisek just starting.
  11. 2 out of 3 back in isn't bad. Hope they can capitalize and qualify the weight for the Olympics.
  12. Saddiros pulled back in as his quarterfinal German opponent makes the finals. A huge win for Germany over the returning world champions.
  13. Solid effort for Williams. He probably wasn't expected to win that match, but definitely had his opponent worried.
  14. Williams is living off of his gut wrench counter ability in this match.
  15. Bisek may need to be a little cleaner in his neutral position going into the next few big matches, but so far he's finding enough points to get the job done.
  16. Saddoris took it to the Bulgarian. Nice to see him moving on and also providing some energy for the rest of the team to feed off of.
  17. Williams returned the favor with his own lift and turned it into a fall. Good job staying in the match. U.S. Greco is usually not a major factor at worlds, but this team sure doesn't want to go away quietly.
  18. Hopefully Williams can make it 3 for 3 in opening matches. Williams had lost against the Brazilian in the Pan-Ams, but all indications were that shouldn't have occurs.
  19. Solid start for USA Greco. 2 for 2 in the opening matches.
  20. Stevenson with a nice 9-0 gold medal win in the finals to cap off a solid US Cadet Freestyle 3rd place showing. The team finished with 3 golds and 2 bronze for the event.
  21. With Phil Collins or Peter Gabriel?
  22. Yeah, it sounds like Asst. Coach Chad Cook will likely be stepping into the roll.
