  1. I guess I'll be the first to throw down my money on Mappes
  2. Triviline Torres and Mora were naaaaaaaaaaaasty....I LOVED watching all three of those guys wrestle.
  3. When I was at Central Michigan...there was a kid on my team who was our backup heavyweight at the time and he was a pretty good heavyweight, but he was still learning alot about wrestling. When I asked him why he wasn't as advanced as all the other athletes on the team he said he just started to learn how to wrestle pretty much his senior year in high school...You see, this kid actually wrestled all four years in high school, however he didn't win a match until his junior year in which he had a .500 record....then his senior year he goes undefeated and wins state. So I'm wondering....what are the biggest cases like this that we've seen here in Indiana? A kid who maybe doesn't have the most talent and struggles his first couple years but then comes back a couple seasons later to win it or place high.
  4. Seems to be some bad blood cooking on the forum between pin2win and wildcatcountry......
  5. Dolly and Schultz....and Ian and I were pretty good practice partners.
  6. He prolly made those 6 weigh-ins and the scratch weigh-in when he was out for all this time so all he has to do is have his hearing and see what happens. Good luck Trent, hope to see you wrestling in the sectional. hes actually allowed to do that? hmmm.... Ya prolly, for example, say you got hurt and you couldn't come back towards the end of the season, wouldn't you want to make your six weigh-ins and have your one scratch weight so you are ready to compete. This makes no sense...If you're ineligable then you're ineligable, that includes weighing in. Trent has no weigh-ins this season...He is allowed to be in the weigh in room and wrestling room because he's a volunteer coach during this time (and a damn good one too).
  7. I like how there's a state countdown next to the date now...Nice touch!
  8. haha its okay naco....hopefully anyone on here isn't too worried about being the "coolest" person on the board...but last week when I went for vacation I had like negative 10....then I came back and i was in the 20s.....hmmm....
  9. If its what you're talking about...Ian may have ran it once or twice but he wasn't too keen on running anything that even remotely exposed his back. He didn't even like to throw a lateral if someone was charging at him with over unders haha
  10. Dick Morin from Mishawaka has a pretty good roll under from a single leg.
  11. I've now decided to make a whole thread on this since it's pretty fun to watch. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dGT_MJNRKwA Let me know if you guys want me to find some more!
  12. I had heard that it was recently (in the past year or so) made illegal or an instant restart on the feet accompanied by a potentially dangerous call...Can anyone clarify?
  13. Harper was a boy at the time whereas Nelsen was all man. Haha that was a rough 6 minutes for Harp.
  14. Much like the time I logged on to see myself having -4721 cool points.
  15. I will wahoo you you every hour for the rest of my life because of this post ;D haha
  16. Unless Keigleys gas tank improves...I don't see him even placing high.
  17. Has Tri State always been referred to as Trine? Or is the recent...am I missing something?
  18. Don't worry nutsdad....it's my last day so I'm not gonna be able to bask in this amazing weather much longer....and from what I heard it looks like I'm coming back home to a blizzard :'(
  19. Agreed, this is community board meant to be polite....If you wanna see some angry angry posting, go check out the MMA forums over at sherdog.com.....those guys are RUTHLESS
  20. Hey Kyle I didn't really get the chance to talk to you after your match with Dick at the Al Smith but my dad and I wanted to say congrats man! You've come a loooong way and you just keep gettin better and better! Hope to see you make it to the big show this year buddy.
  21. Taylor Wisler is a great wrestler and a great kid...And at 103 I definately believe he has what it takes to place top 3 this year (see his match with the CP kid)...On the cutting weight issue, Taylor is a very hard worker and actually a pretty mentally tough kid, however this is his first year really cutting any good amount of weight and he's really not used to it yet and probably won't ever get used to it...Some kids know how to cut and others don't. Bottom line. Good luck the rest of the season Taylor and good luck to my team the rest of the day as I'll be checking on the results poolside in Florida
  22. He had some classic battles with Pat Day and Zack Whikcar. (sp) Yeah me and ole Tyler went 3-3 with each other...however Whickar and I wrestled once...and he handed me my rear end
  23. Everytime I hear "You Dropped the Bomb On Me" it reminds me and Cody and I hatching our plan to chest bump during intros!
  24. Jared LOVES LOVES LOVES to talk....and I love it when he talks haha
