This is a thread that I will have to archive...then look at it when they are Seniors. Its just a guess but I'd imagine some of the top guys at that time won't have made this list.

I absolutely loved awood1's post on this thread. The only difference for me was that I was a long time lurker there (even though I felt like I really knew everyone that posted there). Literally 7-8 years. I loved having a place to go to find out info about the sport that I love. Before I found the place my only info about the sport was by going to local meets, sectional, regionals, and State. I specifically didn't mention the paper because then the amt of space wrestling received was virtually non-existent. Coach Peck I for one thank you for all of the memories (one that really stands out in my mind was Ryan Pribble's Thank You thread). And, I look forward to seeing how u guys are doing in the future.

After this weekend with so many Indiana wrestlers doing so well at the National Duals I began to wonder about Blake. I understand that severe neck injuries eliminated the possibility for him to wrestle in college ever again. But with Alex and Angel possibly primed for a championship run in March as well as his teammate Reece's awesome performance this year just makes me think that he would be right there with them. I've always felt that Blake was one of the most talented kids to ever come out of Indiana. Other than bringing up old memories I was wondering if anyone out there knew how Blake was doing and what he is up to now?

That would be awesome if they could make it to team state. But I'm highly skeptical. Regionals definately though.

Many thanks Vegabond for listing all of the results for this invitational. Look like shek was dead on on the 152 lbr. I enjoyed watching miller wrestle last year. I haven't seen him this year at all but really looking forward to it. Anyone close to the program care to share how he developed his skills. He wrestling style, from what I remember is very atypical hvy. Very fun to watch.

I read over on one of the Iowa boards that he just rode a bike this week and would need at least one week of mat time before Brands would let him go. Hopeful for Wisconsin dual.

That does suck about his knee. I wouldve loved to have seen Iowa bump up several weights with slaton going 141...Tsirtsis going 149 ... And Metcalf meeting Leen. Or if Leclare weighed in let him wrestle 149 and Metcalf against Leen. I think this would increase their chances of winning the dual. Not to mention Metcalf-Leen would be sweet.

Yeah I know but in their wrestle off at the beginning of the season I thought he lost by 1 point. I didn't know if he had closed the gap in the practice room.
