  2. I just heard that Tsirstsis beat Wright by 1 and Wright got called for excessive head batting. Also heard that Cashe beat Tsirstsis by 1. Wright and Cashe are getting ready to go toe to toe now.
  3. I am kind of shocked about that. I had to stay there a few years ago when my house caught on fire and it was very nice. I also know the owner and he doesn't seem to be a penny pincher. With the new airport terminal just a couple of miles away now I couldn't imagine that it would be in bad shape now. Anyway, I will call him up and see what kind of condition it is in now and let you know. There are a couple of hotels in Brownsburg that are ok also. I74 and 267. About 20-25 minutes from downtown.
  4. Blaine Hall was 119 at Brownsburg tonight and won 3-2 over Fuller. As for Tyler Willis he had to bump up to 160 and is doing very well there. I don't think too many people expected Sullivan to grow so much. Should be right back at Conseco this year though.
  5. Y2, I think you guys are doing a great job with the new site. Keep up the great work.
  6. The Hampton Inn in Plainfield is very nice and clean. It is at I70 and 267. West side of Indy. 15 minutes from downtown Indy and good places to eat.
  7. Tyler Willis at 160 for Cathedral, Harvey at 103 from Cathedral and Mason Todd for Pendleton Heights at 103 from the central region. I am sure there are a few more though.
  8. 215 Howland ( over Pirtle (A) 12-2 285 Richey ( over Paugh (A) by fall 103 D. O'Bannon ( won by forfeit 112 Fitzgerald (A) over Thompson ( 6-5 119 Hall (A) over Fuller ( 3-2 125 Oaks ( over Cundiff (A) 10-2 130 Acosta (A) over Mchugh ( 14-5 135 Rassback (A) over Stalnaker ( 12-0 140 Maxwell (A) over Hechinger 9-2 145 Richards (A) over Worden by fall 152 C.Giles ( over Smith (A) by fall 160 Jones (A) over A.Giles ( 18-6 171 Brandt (A) over Rumschlag ( 13-3 189 Leach (A) over Coffman ( by fall
  9. It was a dual meet. The undefeated wrestlers that I can remember were Sammy Bennett, Brandon Wright, Tony McGinley, Cole Brandt . I think that Medina from East Central and Sullivan went undefeated also. I am not sure about Surma. Forgive me if I am leaving anyone out.
  10. 11. It was Dalton Jones that beat him last year. I didn't know that his hand was messed up. I hope that he is doing well. I made my comment on what I have seen in the past and what I have seen from Cole this year. Cole has been behind Leach for the last couple of years and he did finish runner up to Atwood at folksyole state at cadet over the summer. He did get majored by Atwood though and he is looking twice as good as he did last summer. Again, I meant no disrespect to Mappes at all.
  12. Thank you very much.....I should be a very great tournament this year again...Only if they turn on the air conditioning......HA HA
  13. Who will be at Holiday Classic this year?
  14. Pogue is one kid to remember. Tough one to beat. Good luck this year.
  15. Cole Brandt will crush Mappes at Mooresville Regionals this year. Leach and Hacker will be a battle to remember also. I don't know if Juliono is going to go 145 but he will have his hands full also.
  16. Cole Brandt went undefeated at Cathedral Super Six. Garrett Smith was very close to state last year. Kolb probably would have gone to state if not DQ and Parrish just keeps getting better and better at 145 even though getting pinned by Brogden from Zionsville. You can't forget about Bealmier either. Tough as nails.
  17. Cathedral looked super strong. Top to bottom they will be very tough to beat.
  18. Don't forget about Garrett Smith at Cascade or Kolb from Tri-West. How about Parrish from Plainfield and a little boy from Avon named Cole Brandt????? They will all make a difference in the end.
  19. How often will the new rankings come out? I really think you should consider Tyler Willis on the next one though. What happened to Pogue? Tough kid....
  20. I think that Runyon will dominate him after what I seen over the summer
  21. I must agree with that also. Mason Todd is another one. I don't know what he weighs now but I am sure that it is a struggle to get to 103. Maybe we could just add another weight. I just see it unfortunate that you have kids that are very tough and strong and good wrestlers at 220-250 that have to take on 60 + extra pounds to win a match. It seems just a matter of time before the 285 pounder bull rushes the 230 pounder for a take down at the end of 3 periods to win the match. Not trying to take anything away from the biggest kids but I would rather watch a few more matches than watch the other.
  22. I think Dalton won 3-0 or it could have been 3-1. I know Dalton got a takedown at the very end when Tyler got desperate and tried to throw Dalton and got caught up in it. Dalton is very hard to take down. Great defensive wrestler. Tyler is going to be very hard to beat at anytime. Seeing him grow up at the 140-152 range and dominate most of those kids I thought he would have his hands full wrestling grown men. So far, he has done very well. Great job Tyler. Also, Runyon is still the man to beat at 160. Always in control of himself.
  23. Cole Brandt from Avon undefeated at 171, Brandon Wright looked very polished, Tony McGinley and Gavin, for his first match of the year against Bennett looked very impressive. Use those legs Gavin. Avon looked very good for having a depleted line up. With Acosta and Alfs in there it would have been a different outcome for the weekend I am sure.
  24. Any word on Vlahos wrestling this year?
