  1. I heard that Kief from Franklin has moved. I don't know if there is any truth to that rumor but that would change a few things up.
  2. It was a very good match. Both of them got banged up pretty good and Tyler was hampered with a calf cramp for most of the match and later I noticed that Taylor was cramping up in the third period also. Both of them ended up with taped up heads and both left everything out there on the mat. Very good match that went right down to the end. It was a battle, no doubt......Taylor was very hard to score on for sure (good wrestler).

  4. Thank you, your family and all of your fellow soldiers for doing what you do...Keep up the good fight and stay motivated. There are a lot of people here in Indiana backing you....God Bless and have a great New Year.......PS....Great Video.....
  5. I like the old way better so you can just scroll through all of the weight classes on one screen. I love the pic's but if you could just highlight the wrestlers name and just click on it to see a picture I think that would be great. Would be great to have a picture of all of the ranked wrestlers on here. I know that would be a lot more work and am not asking you to do that. You do a great service to all of us now.... Keep up the great work.
  6. Big Hawaiian....I was just getting ready to post that about Wesley but I couldn't get off of the phone with that TW's dad....Wesley did a great job today and made Cathedral Proud.......
  7. 119 lb. #10 Mike Venezia Cathedral beat #4 Josh Ferrell from Greenfield Central 6-3 3OT and #8 Gideon Vanhook from Evansville Reitz 3-1
  8. I will take Todd just out of desire and determination......Neither one of them have any quit in them but I think that Todd has the determination to come out on top. Just my opinion....Good luck to both of you you guys.....
  9. I really think that you are missing a few from Central Indiana.....Montgomery @125, Holifield @ 189 both from Danville, Austin Arnold from Brownsburg @ 112 and Helmick from Cascade at 215
  10. I just posted them in the results section

  12. Danville has #1 seeds at 125, 130, 140 and 152. That is all I know at this time.
  13. Franklin has a very tough team this year throughout the line up and they showed their strength at the Triacoff last weekend.
  14. I think that it is Danville's to lose this year. There are a lot of good wrestlers here this year. I think that Brownsburg will finish a very close second and Avon third. No disrespect to any of the teams at all. You all have great teams.
  15. I thought that it was great. The sound was okay but I heard worse at an Electric Light Orchestra concert at Market Square Arena in the 70's....Keep up the great work....
  16. I think that you might see some good wrestling out of some Avon wrestlers this weekend....They are very very young and have lost a lot of senior leadership but I am sure that Coach Blevins and crew will have them ship shape.....As for the short time that I have had my grandson in Coach Ellis' room here lately I can't see Roncalli being far from a State Team Title... I am a follower of Hendricks and Morgan County wrestling but haven't seen a room like Roncalli since Randy Qulitzza coached at Mooresville in the 70's.... I hope that all of your teams do well this weekend.....and I know that all of you have great wrestling programs...........
  17. Perry Meridian Triple Dual.... Perry Meridian Roncalli Avon New Pal

  19. Thank you all for your input.....I have hooked Collyn up with the Southside Rebels. Dennis Wells has made my daughter and Collyn welcome and excited about starting this wrestling dream. My intentions all along have been to get them boys into CYO or Perry Wrestling because I know that they are the best around.....Coach Ellis, Coach McGinley and Coach Tonte must be about the best around this area.....Since a West Side Coach told me to not bring my grandson unless I planned on keeping him there or it would not benefit Collyn by switching clubs........I can't wait for that southside boy to whip up on them westside boys...... Thank you and Looking for a great first year of wrestling with my newest little knucklehead.......
  20. Thank God you are doing well and Get Well Soon........
  21. Sorry Sean, I was born in Ann Arbor and Tyler's Dad went to MSU.....It's just a standing inside ribbing joke that we have going on. I am a great fan of yours' and Tyler....I would love to see Tyler join you up there in the great state of Michigan. Good luck to you this year and keep working on Tyler. RD
  22. Tyler Willis is one of the most humble young men that I have ever met and have had the pleasure to get to see him growing up...Kind of reminds me of them Todd boys up in Pendleton Heights and the tough little Senior Cody Kendle down south.. I have known his family for a long time and from what I have heard, they have never had to get him ready to go to practice....He had to get them ready to go to practice.....I have seen him practice several times and he is relentless in the practice room and a natural born leader......As a sophomore at Cathedral I seen him take over as a leader on that team and he led like a champion leader....He must have gotten that from his dumb old dad that played football and wrestled at Michigan State (just a little west of the real Michigan School). From what I hear, there is someone up there trying to get him to wrestle there as well...... Weather Tyler Willis ever wrestles or plays football at the next level (and I am sure he will) will not matter.....He will be a leader in whatever he decides to do. And from what I hear Tyler has a little sister that is a killer on the Volleyball Court...........And if you didn't know this......Tyler loves NASCAR Racing......
  23. Thanks for everyone's input....I went over to my daughters' for her birthday tonight and them boys need to be on the mat right now...My god, the energy is overwhelming....Maybe I am getting old and starting to enjoy the nice, relaxing environment of a wrestling room....LOL Seriously though, thank you all for the input. I have talked with a few little kid coaches and sadly, some of them have asked me not to bring them if I don't plan on keeping them there. They have told me that they teach their style of wrestling and it might not work so well if you change systems....I am willing to provide the best for them but I want their best interest to be the focus of the coach....Since I am here in Central Indiana and the boys are on the South Side, I figure that this narrows it down to Coach Ellis.....I hear that he is awesome with the little kids and seeing what he has done in a short time with Roncalli, how could I go wrong???? Anymore input would be of great help..... Thanks, RD
  24. Cole Brandt from Avon is wrestling at Southern Illinois Edwardsville
