  5. Mark Durham and Joe did it again! Great tournament, greatly ran. Was nice to have the watches for the officials for the timing situations. Saw a couple of last second scores/non-scores where the officials were able to know exactly as time ran out!
  6. Some change to the Quad Stream it appears, so you’ll wanna take a look.
  7. Mat 1 was Dane Mauer and Matt Coughlin.
  8. Almost. MD- 1 TF- 1.5 Fall- 2

  10. 1,000 spectators per session maximum.
  11. Yes. Yes, the wrestler will pay for the tournament at the door. Last chance is at Indy Nationals. You have to place in the top 12 to qualify for the state tournament.
  12. Hello: All Girls Frosh-Soph Qualifier weight classes will be during the afternoon session. Weigh-ins start at 12 and will end at 1 with wrestling starting at 1:30. Thanks, Mark and Kyle

  14. Bradbury Portage vs Birge Frankfort Birge was the returning state Champ, Bradbury was going to War with Alex Ramos every week. Bradbury lost to Ramos beat him for a regional title, setting up the match. Bradbury got the W, then went on to continue his rivalry to Ramos losing to him Under the lights.
  15. This one was a good one as mentioned in another thread.
  16. It is grown so much (and COVID) that they are making it a 2 day tournament... Hopefully for the sake of everyone (tournament admin included) it is quicker this year!
  17. Yes. It is based on this year's IHSAA qualification.
  18. Hello: Portage is excited to be hosting the Indiana Frosh-Soph North Qualifier. We hope that all will follow the below rules for the event. Frosh/Soph State Qualifier: February 14th, 2021 COVID-19 Protocol & Procedures Schools attending will only be allowed 3 coaches for the event. Also, each athlete will be allowed to designate two attendees for the event. The attendees can only be the parents of the wrestler participating in the tournament. The Coach of each school attending needs to designate the person(s) attending via email by Friday February 12th, 2021. (andrew.bradbury@portage.k12.in.us) All attendees MUST wear face masks. Athletes will be exempt from this when they are warming-up or competing. If you are not feeling well, experiencing symptoms or may be at a higher risk for getting very sick, we recommend you stay home. Each person entering the event will be subject to a screening for COVID-19 symptoms. In order to encourage social distancing there will be extremely limited seating, it is highly recommended that spectators bring their own "camp" chairs for seating. Spectators from different households must always be seated 6’ away from each other. A designated monitor will be assigned to ensure social distancing and mask wearing throughout the tournament. There will be no physical interaction with the referee. The referee will maintain 6’ distance as much as possible. Handshaking and normal match procedures such as raising an athlete's hand will be eliminated from this tournament.
  19. And just for the answer to the question that was actually asked...tomorrow at noon CST.
  20. I am going with 1 prediction. Y2 will leave the gym with at least 1 coaches misconducts against him.
  21. At Portage, there are only 7 teams competing (if you were to count Andrean who is completely out for the year, there would be 14 more FFTs). You have it listed as 8 teams but not the 14 FFTs due to COVID this year.
