    He took 6th at the Marion invitational. Not sure who he wrestled, but the Marion kid is a solid senior, amd OH kid is a solid freshman. 1st/2nd: Chris Herring (Marion) Dec. Bo Ketring (Oak Hill) 6-2 3rd/4th: Justin Louck (Southwood) MDec. Dylan Hettinghouse (Tipton) 11-0 5th/6th: John Horner (Eastern) DFLT Trevor Williams (Wabash) 7th/8th: Casey Cyr (Western) won by Forfeit (Eastbrook)

    My son was born the 23 of June. We could have started him a year earlier and would have been the youngest kid in his grade. Because he was small (he was premature at birth) we started him the next year. Even if we held him back, he would still be eligible, that's crazy.

    Joe, Staggs from Oah Hill pinned Miller from Northwestern tonight. At 112. Good thing he didn't listen to GCI.

    Did Kyle make another book? The one I have is "No Excusses". I would read another from him. We just bought "Nearfall" by Joe Reasbeck. My older son is reading it and said it's pretty good. They are aslo supposed to be making it into a movie.

    What is the exact rule on the number of matches you are allowed each year? Is there a set number, or is it 6 duals and 6 tourneys or something like that? I have seen a few varsity kids wrestling at JV meets, I was wondering if they have a cap on the number of matches you can get, and why there is such a gap between some schools and others.

    lol, think about it Shane. This happened to me in youth football this year. I'm 5'11" 190. The other 3 coaches went 6'5" 400, 6'5"380, and 6'1" 300. It doesn't matter who says what, it's easier to tell the smallest guy to shut up, he can go tell the big guys. On a side note, in the previous post of the results between Redd Cobra and Gold, the 95# match, it's Mullinix, not Mullins.

    How many matches does your average wrestler have so far this year?

    Holloway went 145 and won that weight class, he will stay 145 the rest of the year. I hope your right. I'd lots rather see him at 145 then 140 or 135.

    So am I right in assuming Abbott and Scott never wrestled? Sounds like there was some good wrestling.

    He wrestled against us at Huntington. We had a 6 way dual, but he only wrestled twice. He does have curley blonde hair, and at 171?

    Holloway is supposedly going 135. At least that is what thier assitant coach said. There is no way Holloway can healthily make 135. I'm just telling you what the coach said. I think he should stay at 145, unless Hovermale can't make 140 anymore. He probably can't beat Barrett at 140, so he has to go up or down.

    Ok, thanks Joe. For some reason I thought him and E. Corner went that year. So has he and Scott wrestled? Scott will have to beat him and Abbot to go. Not very many kids from our regional go on to state without winning regionals. I will be some very exciting wrestling.
