  1. That may be, but it is at the West Point prep academy. I personally talked to him and know that he is at the prep academy, and he is on the prep team's roster. He is in the back row, 4th from the right... http://www.usma.edu/USMAPS/pages/athletics/wrestling/wrestling_home.htm
  2. Runyan is at the West Point prep school. He will be at West Point likely next year.
  3. It doesn't seem like he has intentions of going 215 this year according to that second article.
  4. yes, that is the same shane perkey. he is a coach at lindsey wilson now.
  5. herman's fight is live on hdnet at 2am ET. his is the first fight aired. try to watch it!
  6. Interesting that there is an athlete on the pound for pound that isn't even ranked #1 in his weight class when the guy ranked above him isn't on the pound for pound!
  7. I'm pretty sure that Shawn Miracle is still at Bloomington North and did not transfer back to Bloomington South.
  8. I apologize in advance if I forget anyone that represented our state yesterday in Iowa. Here is my recap... Jarred Brooks is on a terror. He beat the guys ranked (according to W.I.N.) 2nd and 5th in the nation. He went on to win the tournament in dominating fashion. This kid has one goal in sight and that is a Gold Medal on Feb. 20th. He sure has a heck of a knee slide, too! Jared McKinley is an animal. He placed 3rd losing to a very tough opponent. He won the close ones and you can tell that Perry is doing what needs to be done to remain an elite Indiana team. Their team represented Indiana well all tournament. Eric Roach repeated as PreSeason Nationals Champion. At 145 he won in dominating fashion. His non-stop, in your face wrestling takes people out of their game plan. Great job yesterday, Eric. Huge props go to my man Cheney Dale from McCutcheon. He lost his opening round match and rolled through the consolations winning 9 straight matches to claim 3rd place with a huge win over Florida's #1 ranked 171 lber for the bronze. He learned from his loss and tore it up. We didn't get out of there until about 11pm. It was a long day and a long drive back, but well worth it. Congrats Indiana boys. Hopefully someone can recap with some more results from the middle school results as well. I believe we had a champion at around the 75 pound weight class! Coach Nicola Calumet College
  9. According to the IU website, the Hoosiers will be battling it out with Minnesota on 02/06/10 at Bloomington South High School!
  10. Calumet College of St. Joseph will be there in full force recruiting!
  11. he was a two time state champion. he is ineligible right now but will be back 2nd semester. just because he isn't on the roster doesn't mean he left iu!
  12. http://mmajunkie.com/news/16437/dave-herman-vs-jim-york-and-kazunori-yokota-vs-eiji-mitsuoka-added-to-sengoku-11th-battle.mma nov 7 is the big day. we are all excited about this fight and i guarantee he will be more prepared for this one then the last time we went to japan!
  13. Look for Max to redshirt. Veta is looking good at 141. Angel is healthy and is hungry to win the title again. Warren is at 149, but won't beat Kinser. Kurt will likely be at 149 with Coughlin at 157. I'm not too sure about the heavier guys, but I will look in to it when I visit this weekend.

all you have to do for this spoiler is go to any major mma site and see Dana White's remarks on how he was upset someone leaked it...so it's not really that big of a secret!

well he loses his first fight. and my source is likely far better than any of the sources you are hearing it from!
  16. I would assume you aren't talking about wrestling. I do believe that a gal by the name of Alex Banafich from The Culver Academies won that many, if not more, for cross country and track & field.

I bet that the viewership will drop after Kimbo gets beat. They should have saved him for the final fight of the series so that people would stay interested. He does lose in his first fight though.

No, Dave just fought Don Frye last weekend. He is not in TUF. His next fight will likely be some retribution in Japan on the November event.
  20. Herman KOs Frye at the 1:00 mark of round 1.
  21. Steve Lopez, a former Indiana wrestler, is on the card. Make sure you watch it to support him!
  22. The fight is live on the internet tomorrow for only $6. Support this past Indiana wrestler. The fight can be bought online at www.sharkfights.com.
