Hemmelgarn is pretty good on top. Wes Bernard will have a lot of falls in the season. Mike Eldridge laporte is pretty nasty on top Jacob covaciu and josh Fuqua are very tough on top not a lot of turns I would say the Hughes brothers would be my pick

Very interesting opinion. I feel like a large numbe of state champions return to the sport as coaches. Which I'm sure coach many of the young men/women who will ultimately fall short of their goals. Still a good read

Just some quick comments Going in to the second drew wasn't getting dominated on his feet. The only TD was a reversed call from a stalemate tha was let play out for :30 seconds changing the match. Wilson choose neutral instead of a 0-0 match going in the second. Drew didn't go against his coaches I think he choose to go underneath before coaches said anything. Hindsight is 20/20 but what if he didn't turn deondre and rode him for 2 minutes? -

A hall-of-fame fast-pitch softball hurler, he won several gold medals in the Maccabiah Games before losing a leg and nearly dying in a horrific car accident in 2010. i think Merrillvilles depth is very good obviously Konrath is 1 and Im going to Rank undefeated Brenden Bailey 2. I dont think any of the Semi states are going to sweep but Reitz, Cummings and Hildebrant are as good of a 3 as anyone. the Hildbrant match with egli was much closer then the score 2t egli 1p egli 3-0 after 1 hildy choose down got the escape 3-1 drew close to 2 after egli tried a headlock on the line 3-1 after 2 egli choose down hildebrant rode him the entire 3rd with ;30 left got his 3rd caution and gave up a point 4-1 then went desperation cradle giving up a reversal 6-1

Gelen hasn't given up a offensive point in 2 years he was a reversed call in the semi away from being a 2x finalist against guy he had 2 wins over. Streck has 2 losses to gelen in his career. I like that these guys go out and get the best matches possible.

Strecks just a double all American who went 1-0 with the state champion. A state champion that lost to Adam coon 1-0,1-0. I'm not saying what fletcher would do against him. But I'm guessing it would be a good match

That's is true. I like dark horse picks a guy not ranked to come and get a medal. I like to call that the Keon Jones from merrillville unranked to the semi finals losing to mcginley in OT or the Blake Giffen south deerborn Unranked to the semis also
