  1. Your statement shows how dumb your post is. What are you talking about? Are you worried that there will be a snow on I-69? Bellmont is already at Team State........... Bellmont has beaten their fair share of Top 5 teams over the last 5 years.
  2. that may be the worst post ever written on this board...... at least try to write so that people can understand what you're saying.
  3. I think it is. Bellmont only lost once at Team Semi-State to Wawasee in 1997.
  4. I wasn't upset by it, I think we just use the word too often, along with the word gay to describe things/people. And I am a huge Seinfeld fan..... No soup for you!
  5. Rex stepped up to take the job when the Kintz brothers said that they didn't have the time to do it. Without Rex, you wouldn't be listening to wrestling on the radio at all in Adams County. I have literally seen him beg people to be his broadcast partner. With Kalver out of town now, Sean Faurote coaching at the middle school and John Sheets coaching at Tri-State, there is no one out there that will do it. I think Rex does a good job of being honest and giving his opinion. WZBD covers Bellmont wrestling, because Bellmont fans listen to the matches and businesses from Decatur sponsor the broadcast entirely. How could he not be biased and why does he need to be? I understand the argument with the AC match, but Rex is doing the entire state a huge favor by broadcasting these matches, and I don't think he deserves to have his reputation shot down on a message board by someone that will not post their name.
  6. haha, a little information never hurt anyone, I have no idea who the kid is anyways...... He could have easily found all that info on the board anyways. Brooks is on a roll right now, taking out Latourneau tonight. After tonight, I'm so pumped, I really don't care........ Although my team rankings took a shot today.
  7. Since the Al Smith, a few days after Christmas, he has only lost to Jake Lamb from Lowell, Hildebrandt of Penn, Guerra of Mishawaka, and then Kenney from Jay County in the sectional finals.
  8. I am sure it is on the radio, but their webcast is usually lousy, so good luck. You may be able to pick up the signal in CC.
  9. I think there are some real true toss-ups in this match 103 Adams vs. Bevans-Similar records, Bevans has gotten all the hype throughout the year, but Adams had a good showing at Sectional. 125-Sheets vs. Hiestand- This is obviously the key match of the dual. 130-Smith vs. Hormann-Smith comes in as a sectional champ, and Hormann as a 4th placer, but something tells me that Hormann has the chance to pull out another team tournament upset like he did against Zac Leffel a few years back. 135-Busse vs. Rench-It seems like this one should go Yorktown's way, but a lot of people are split on it. Will is much better than 10-14 160-Busse vs. Castner-Both come in with great records. Busse is finally back to the level he was at Al Smith, where he was one call away from making the finals and maybe winning. These are the matches that someone will have to win 3 of 5 to take the title.
  10. I'm going to say that neither team scores 30 points and Bellmont comes out on top by cleaning up in the upper weights.
  11. I have no idea what Bellmont has to do with it. You said, and then The post was pointless in the same way me saying "I heard Y2 smoked with Michael Phelps and they got arrested in Paris last night." And then saying, "but that really didn't happen, just wanted to see what you guys thing about it." If the coach said it, then we could discuss it..... that was all I was saying. It wasn't a crack on you, it just didn't make sense to me what your point was.
  12. That post was pointless, sorry to be blunt.
  13. I don't think using the term Nazi is appropriate. Sorry, must be the German teacher in me.
  14. So they inserted Anderson? What was his record?
  15. What sort of changes did Yorktown have to its lineup for duals this year as compared to their sectional roster?
  16. I think Hormann has a very good chance to win first round and has a decent chance at his guy in the semi's if things work out. I wouldn't underestimate him. (And I'm not just being biased) I would agree though that Ehr will probably beat Simmons...
  17. Mccormick made that b0ld prediction my senior year I think, 5 or 6 years ago. I am still laughing about it.
  18. Don't forget about Quinn Kurtz, who was at 160 for most of the year. I have a strong feeling that one of the three from Jay County will have to wrestle him in the ticket round, and it will not be a given, Kurtz is a very good wrestler who has two losses to undefeated Bratcher of Eastbrook at 160 and Monix from Lowell in the finals at the Al Smith. Those are two quality guys. Otherwise he is 33-2, with most of the wins coming at 160.
  19. AJ, will you be at Jay County on Saturday? We have a middle school tournament in Warsaw....
  20. Is there any chance of a prediction that Bellmont will get beat by Winchester this year??????? That was a good one........
  21. Check out the boys' wrestling frame at http://www.ihsaa.org/b-wrestling/2008-09/0809Sectionals.htm for most of the sectional results.
