I was wondering why the schools that were at Jay County did not ALL refuse to wrestle. What would have happened if no wrestlers took the mat. I understand that higher ups made the decision to continue the meet, but why didn't the coaches stand up for the missing teams. Because now that this has happened it could happen again.....but to YOUR team. i am not switching blame from the officals who made the decision, just want to know were the solidarity was.

With Sparks win at 45 that makes 2 Ft. Wayne 4's that have won. Looking strong now.

I do not know how Cleveland at 215 is a lock. Baker beat him at Mish. Baker has wrestled a very tough schedule this year. It will be good match but Baker will win again.

I would like to thank everyone that is involved with this awesome website. I wrestled for New Haven in the lat 80's and still enjoy watching and reading about wrestling. I have four children now so I am unable to keep up with it as much as I would like. Your great site makes it possible for me to sit down when the kids are in bed to get all the wrestling news. Thank you again for all the countless hours you put in. It is greatly appreciated.

In the last post I thought Baker would lose to Mosier by a close score. I think today Baker will beat Mosier. Baker has a better understanding of Mosiers style. Final score Baker 4- Mosier 2.

What do you think the outcome will be? Mosier is a pinning machine but Baker is a very good defensive wrestler. I think Mosier will win but Baker keeps it close (6-2).

I know Billy Baker has had an awesome season so far. How do you think Allen from Northside will do at Semi-State against Baker? Has Allen and Baker ever wrestled? This matchup reminds me of Randy Baker (Bellnont) and Woodson from Snider. This match will be worth the price of admission come Semi-State.

It is poetic justice that Nix drew Lovejoy in the first round of Reg. From previous posts it sounded like Lovejoy got homered by the ref. I hope Lovejoy keeps his head and shows Nix and Dwenger that the previous outcome was unwarented and unfair. I know I would not want to be Mr. Nix come Saturday. I wonder how much sleep he will get Friday night?
