The same reason the IHSAA hasn't given in to the pressure from our Coaches Association to add wrestle-backs. They don't care what the coaches think. -

I should mention to the noobs that I'm as big of an anti-classer as it comes. I've given up the fight with Hungus and Y2, we agreed a long time ago to disagree. I now hijack threads with ridiculous scenario. On the old board I devised the TripleB state series where every wrestler wrestled every wrestler and every wrestler was a state qualifier and state placer.

How about under-rated in general? Luke Schroeder - Southwestern - 3rd 103, only loss at 103 was to Phillips. Was either unranked or ranked near the bottom all year. Now in post season talks about next year is still getting no respect. Maybe I'll start calling him "Dangerfield", Luke "Dangerfield" Schroeder.

4 classes: 2 privates, 2 publics. Privates one weekend, Publics another weekend. Do you think there would be the mandatory beer garden at the private states?

I think well before we ever discuss population splits we should discuss a public/private split.

Indiana is building a nice base of fighters in the UFC. The last one festured both Bonnar and Lytle. Congrats to Elkins!

I was just on the underground today and there was a thread about him having a hard time finding fights. I wonder if this spurred his UFC moment?

I got buttons for sale, TAE I know you refuse to comment, but how about some pictures of buttons? I also think that alot of people on both sides of the fence would be all for a classed team tournament/no class individual tournament. If we see a rise of smaller teams in terms of participation and competition, then it would shut us nay-sayers up.

Y2, Small Schools are at a significant disadvantage. Some guy who used to post on here had very good statistical info to back up these claims. It's not just about the champion, it's about the kids. I vote every pariticpant is awarded a trophy

The lesser deal is $1500 for 20 tickets and 4 parking passes. It breaks down to 75 bucks a ticket.

I know Conseco's first year was 2000 but the first year that I could find attendance numbers was 2001 -2002: 29,257 That's over 10,000 in 3 years.

From IHSAA.com: 1999 "The final session of 14 championship matches drew a single-session record of 11,027, bringing the total two-day attendance to a record 40,112. The previous records were 10,665 (final session) and 37,020 (four session), both in 1997."

The problem is the interpretation of the rules. Every coach that has posted on this subject has said that. People are on here slamming coaches, what do we do when Cox has changed the interpretation of the rule over and over?

Knight is a pretty much is the Oregon athletic dept. He wanted his money invested in sports that will make nike money. I'm pretty sure that there was a mini-protest nike deal going on with Oregon alums.

There were lots of inside rumors that Nike had something to do with Oregon's wrestling program getting shut down. I can't remember the details now. What if........Texas joins the Big Ten? There are plenty of rumors right now on talk radio and the internet that this very well could happen. Would the Big Ten make Texas add wrestling?
